This policy will apply to purchases made on or after March 18, 2019.

We want you to love what you buy from us but we get it, you might change your mind. In the event that you’d like to make a return or exchange, here’s what you need to know.


General Returns

Returns with a Receipt

So simple: Returns with a receipt can be exchanged or returned up to 180 days after purchase. We will refund the purchase price to the original form of payment or issue a Merchandise Credit.

Returns with a Gift Receipt

Merchandise returned using a Gift Receipt will be exchanged or refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount paid, for up to 180 days from the date of purchase.

Returns with a Gift Registry Receipt

Merchandise returned from a Registry purchase will be exchanged or refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount paid, for up to 365 days from the date of purchase.


Returns without a Receipt

Our goal is always to be fair and reasonable, so we'll do all we can to find a record of your purchase.

Misplaced your receipt? We can help! If your new item, in original packaging, was purchased within the past year, we’ll try to find a record of it using any of the following:

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Merchandise Credit Number
  • Gift Card Number
  • Order Number
  • Registry Number
  • Checking Account Number

Items that are new and unopened may be accepted and will receive current selling price less 20%, in the form a Merchandise Credit. Returns of open or used items without a receipt will not be accepted.

Note: Whenever we issue a Merchandise Credit, we'll ask you to provide a government-issued ID. Additional research may be required for items that can be returned without a receipt.


Return Exceptions

In order to protect against fraudulent returns, we verify that all returns are valid. Returns may be limited or denied based upon our refund authorization systems, which are used to track purchases and returns to help protect against fraud. buybuy BABY reserves the right to refuse any return.


buybuy BABY Products

Have a buybuy Baby branded product? We’re sure you’ll love it, but just in case, you can exchange or return it within 365 days of purchase.


Purchases from a Baby Registry

Purchases made from registries may be exchanged or returned within 365 days of purchase, if they are new and unopened. For used items, normal return policy rules apply.


Car Seats and Strollers

Can be exchanged or returned within 180 days. These items must be new and unused condition with all original packaging, warranty and registration information included.


Electrics

Can be exchanged or returned within 90 days of purchase. Examples include but are not limited to baby monitoring devices, warmers, swings and food prep products


Breast Pumps

Can be exchanged or returned within 180 days. These items must be unopened and in original sealed packaging.


Baby, Toddler and Maternity Clothing

Can be exchanged or returned within 90 days of purchase. These items must be new, unused and have all tags attached.


Summer and Holiday Seasonal Items

Can be exchanged or returned within 30 days of purchase.
Examples include but are not limited to baby/kids outdoor play, baby/kids swings & slides, summer clothing, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Harvest/Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s products.


Smart Home Technology Electronics

Can be exchanged or returned within 30 days of purchase. Examples include but are not limited to smart home thermostats, smart security & safety, and smart doorbell products.


Air Mattresses

New and unopened air mattresses may be returned within 90 days of purchase.
Opened air mattresses may only be exchanged for a similar item within 90 days of purchase.


AS-IS Items In Store Only

Can be exchanged or returned within 30 days of purchase.


Monogrammed, Personalized, Custom-Made, and Special Order Items

Cannot be exchanged or returned.


Gift Cards

Cannot be exchanged or returned.

This service is for Standard Parcel shipping not Truck Delivery Returns. If the item is oversized or was delivered by a scheduled carrier please call 844-4BBBHOME (844-422-2466) for assistance.

Returning Your Items

Item(s) may be returned within 30 days of receipt* for any reason as long as the item is in the same condition/packaging in which you received it.

  • To schedule a return within 30 days under these conditions, call our Delivery Customer Service team at 844-4BBBHOME (844-422-2466) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. Saturday (Eastern Time). We will make arrangements to have our carrier contact you to schedule a pick-up of your return.
  • Customer is responsible for all shipping, storage and vendor charges (such as cancellation or restocking fees).

Returns will not be accepted after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for assistance.

** Monogrammed, personalized, custom-made or special order items cannot be exchanged or returned with the exception of a manufacturer defect.


Truck Delivery Cancellation Fees

Cancellation & Return Schedule

Orders Cancelled within 24 hours of purchase will not incur a cancellation fee.

Orders Cancelled AFTER 24 hours of purchase will incur a 20% restocking fee*

*20% of purchase price. Restocking fee covers shipping, storage, and associated fees incurred.
