The sleep sack portion of this is fine. The issue lies if your baby still needs to be swaddled. I’m not sure how wide they think the average 0-3 month baby is, but the swaddle “wings” are so large/long it is impossible to get a secure fit and my baby constantly breaks his arms out no matter what I do (then of course wakes himself up). The inner wing is so long you can’t wrap/tuck it in properly without first folding it due to the seam down the middle back and in order for it to be moderately tight on the outer wing, I need to wrap it almost all the way around around my baby. On another design issue, the stitching they use on the outer wing is not strong enough to combat the velcro near it- we’ve had this swaddle maybe 1.5 weeks and its falling apart because the stitching constantly gets stuck on it.
Great if you never wash them
Tried these before washing for fit and they were great. Washed on the coldest setting on my washing machine, and dried with no heat, and they shrunk like crazy. Shrunk 2-3 inches in length so they’re too short for my baby, and it also made the proportions weird everywhere else because it couldn’t really shrink where the zipper is. I have one in fleece and it’s great, but too warm, so these would be perfect if they had pre washed the cotton or something, because any washing you do will shrink them no matter what…
Must have
We love this swaddle. It is warm, comfy and safe for my baby to sleep in, as he cannot sleep soundly without swaddling. The zipper is very functional, operating from the bottom making diaper changes undisturbing.
