Graco has outdone themselves!

Momma24Bairns.3 years ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know my way around a stroller. I am currently expecting baby #4 and have had my fair share of bad and amazing strollers. This Graco Modes Nest Travel System is so great, I love that I can switch baby forward facing, rear-facing, and even scoot her closer to me. It is so easy and convenient to move my babies from the car seat adapter to the stroller and back again. My baby can be in the infant car seat the whole time without disturbing a sleepy baby. This is especially convenient when you have your hands full of groceries or other little ones. I would just like to say, thank you Graco, for making my life a little easier!

Great for first time parents or urban dwellers

MamaO3.3 years ago

So I was given the Graco Modes Nest stroller from Stellar Product Reviews to try out. It came with a stroller seat that can be converted into a bassinet. Everything came in one gigantic box and assemble was pretty easy even with a preschooler and a first grader trying their best to distract me. Upon completion, I let our 11 month old test it out. Here are our thoughts: -Nice option for completely flat naps when on the go, however in order to convert from sitting to laying, someone needs to hold the baby. -Stroller glides across various surfaces smoothly and is easy to maneuver. -I loved that we could place the seat facing us or street facing. -I am a petite person so it was nice to be able to adjust the seat at various heights. -The basket underneath is gigantic and perfect when running errands. -Although it is always nice to have a cupholder, having it on the side of the stroller (as pictured) isn't convenient as it easily falls off if bumped...maybe place it at the handle as with previous models. -We love the faux leather handle when pushing the stroller, however I am a petite person so it was at an awkward height for me to push whereas it was perfect for my 5'10 tall husband...I felt like my 6 year old pushing a stroller. -If you are familiar with Graco strollers, then you can probably find the latch to unfold the stroller without any hesitation. Sadly we struggled with finding the latch and unlatching it all the time, guess we will have to continue to use it until we get the hang of it. -If you have a smallish trunk, removing the seat/bassinet allows you to place the frame in easily and then tuck the seat/bassinet next to it. -If you do not remove the seat/bassinet and you fold it, the inside part of the seat where baby sits/sleeps is completely exposed so probably not a good stroller for checking in at an airport gate without a bag. -We have a three kiddo household so being able to fold up a stroller quickly and corral the older kids into the van is crucial; with the difficulty of finding the latch and using both hands it is a bit cumbersome. Overall although I wanted to love love this stroller, it just isn't the right fit for our family. However, I do think it would be perfect for first time parents, parents/caregivers taking baby out into the neighborhood strolls to nap in bassinet mode, or running errands in the city without having to fold/unfold it multiple times.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Hard to maneuver when indoors and I only have it for 6 months. Return window closed before I got to use it because baby was in the NICU. Graco didn’t let me post a more detailed review it was denied by Graco.

Car seat- we absolutely love the car seat and the base. It has been perfect for our now 6 month old. He came home at 4 lbs and the car seat was great and is still in perfect condition. Stroller- i love it. It is quite large, but i wouldn’t choose another one. It has so much space for his bag and my bags. I love that i can use the stroller seat or his car seat with it. Very convenient. It’s super easy to load and unload into the trunk of my SUV.

Wanted to Love IT

Purchased this last Saturday and assembled it at home. Looked great put together and was easy to assemble. We started to wheel it around the house, where the flaws began to stand out. The front wheels catch when they have to swivel causing a jerky feel and would whip around the kid. The car carried locks in place well. However, its adjustable height doesn't lock in except for the top setting which is too tall for my wife. With this, she couldn't place the carrier into the clips without it slinging around the kiddo. It's jerky to pull out the carrier but if it's in a lower setting, it will slide up, causing the frame and carrier to twist, again making it super jerky to remove the carrier and whipping the kid around. Maybe this is all user error but it wasn't as smooth and effortless as the ones we tried in the store. Will be boxing it back up and returning to the store. Hopefully, they will take it back.

We are first time parents and absolutely love this stroller! It is easy to open and close the stroller quickly. It fits through all doors, openings, and aisles when we are out and about! There is also plenty of storage space. Our favorite part is that it snaps right out of the car and into the stroller. We also have the cot and stand. The cot can snap easily onto the stroller. And the stand can easily hold the car seat and carry cot. I would highly recommend this car seat!

I love this stroller ❣️❣️❣️❣️

great except way it folds closed

Yarismom . 1 month ago

I love the size of the bottom basket and how easy it is to lock in the infant car seat. It’s easy to fold closed. I haven’t used the toddler seat yet, but I love the idea that I can use it for two kids at once. One drawback is that when this model folds closed, the handles that you use to push the stroller end up touching the floor! Do you know how unsanitary that is? Also, in order to open the stroller you have to bend down to pull on a lever, which was an issue post-surgery. I really hope Graco redesigns the way this stroller folds shut. I constantly have to wipe down the handle every time I open it, and worry that the pleather will scratch off with each opening and closing. Other than that, this is a great stroller which I will use for years.

It is so comfortable to carry It is easy to fold

My baby is so uncomfortable in the car seat. The Buckley digs into her legs and I have to put a blanket under the buckle to prevent it from doing that. In addition the car seat is so hard to insert and take out of the stroller. I often need help, which is not feasible when you’re alone. Lastly the seat does not feel sturdy inside the stroller. All my baby things are Graco but I’m really upset with this one .

Good car seat stroller- bad regular stroller

steve . 1 month ago

The car seat is nice and fits the base well. It’s great for short stroller trips. Unfortunately the regular stroller seat is super rigid and upright. It barely reclines. Not comfy at all. Our son is almost 6 mos and it’s unusable. Disappointing as it was expensive

Beautiful and sturdy

I loveeeeee the stroller so far it seems like a big stroller but I think it’s well build for my toddler and soon newborn

Cheap for a reason!

MommaA . 2 months ago

This stroller has everything for a great starter stroller. However the button on the back of the infant seat is extremely hard to use and it always gets stuck trying to take it out. Putting the infant seat in the stroller is so difficult and you are blindly putting it in the adapters. It’s super heavy also and sometimes the stroller just flings itself open when trying to get out the car. Nothing feels secure and everything is super cheap feeling and plastic. It’s CHEAP because that’s the quality that reflects it. The only good thing is that is it has a big basket, nice pleather handle, cup holder and looks chic. Not impressed with Graco for this stroller.

Great stroller

I’m so sad to be this disappointed.

CParker40 . 2 months ago

I was thrilled to order this stroller. It had all the features I was seeking and I love buying Graco products. It seemed perfect. However, as soon as I assembled by stroller, I noticed two major issues. The front wheels keep getting locked and even worse, the infant car seat is extremely unstable/unsteady. Between these two issues, I don’t feel safe or secure in using this stroller for my newborn, but feel lost. Since I already assembled it, I know it can’t be returned but also purchasing a new travel system isn’t financially feasible at this time.

Nice but terrible wheels

BB&B Customer . 3 months ago

We purchased the baby jogger city select LUX and got used to a very smooth ride no matter what surface. Purchased this once our second child came along and I am pretty disappointed. The overall look is nice, it’s easy to use/breakdown and the attachments come with the product which is another plus. However, the wheels are terrible. I can’t even walk in our neighborhood with uneven sidewalk without having trouble getting over the bumps. It seems to be a very rough ride in comparison to the city select. Still a great product but not one I would personally recommend or purchase again due to the wheels alone.

Great Stroller for multiple children!

Boymomx6 . 3 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this stroller when I was pregnant with my now 2 year old son. After many uses it is still in great condition and was easily converted to accommodate my new tiny human as well! I am pleasantly surprised by the durability and convenient click connect adaption to allow any Graco car seat I chose for my newborn! The undercarriage is large enough for the many items I find necessary for walks or trips to the park with my boys! I LOVE Graco and will continue to use their tried and true baby gear until.my boys grow out of them which has not happened yet and ai have them ranging from 11-0!
