I've exclusively pumped for a year and could not have done so without the Willow. I didn’t use the Willow as my only pump, and it’s not sufficient to establish supply, but it gave me the freedom to go wherever I wanted without having to worry about finding a place to pump in private. I’ve pumped with it during work meetings, dinners, while cycling and on planes. It’s not perfect but I don’t think there’s any wireless pump out there that is better. Just bought another one to give to my pregnant sister. Pros: - Wireless. - Ability to move freely without the pump leaking. - Easy to clean. Very few parts. - Quiet enough. - Bags, so no need to poor milk from bottles into bags before storing it in your fridge or freezer. - Enough suction strength to (almost) empty your breasts. Cons: - Slightly less output than with a hospital grade pump. - Uncomfortable at the beginning, even at the lowest suction level, but with positioning practice and slight rotation of the pump towards my armpits I was able to pump pain free and even increase the suction strength so I emptied my breasts better. - App could do with some more features and sometimes looses connection with the pump, but this does not affect pumping itself though.
I am a second time mom with pumping as my bigger source of feeding my children. I have had Medela and Spectra and love both. I decided to purchase Willow for freedom since I have a toddler and a lot of household choirs (7000sq foot home). Let me begin with I have had nothing but issues with Willow. The pain itself and the inaccurate calculations of milk dispensed in both the bags and containers is ridiculous. I have had help from willow as far as coaching after weeks of waiting for an appt. Willow has made my supply drop and use it really during the day when I’m with my kids. I have used it a total of 30 times and now one of the pumps isn’t working. YOU CAN NOT RETURN OR EXCHANGE. So if you would like to basically throw away $500 purchase this; otherwise stick with a Spectra with freemie cups. Very disappointed and sad about this product.

The Willow pump is a life changer for anyone who doesn’t like to sit still and be strapped to a wall. It helped me continue to pump/breastfeed with my 1st son for at least 9 months esp when going back to work. It’s also a life saver now with my 2nd son as my toddler also wants a lot of attention. It takes time to adjust to the pumps as there is a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. Do yourself a favor and get these pumps. Don’t wait any longer, I regretted waiting the 6 weeks that I did.

This is literally the best pump for any mom, especially those with 2+ kids. There is no down time in my world of 2 toddlers and a newborn. Willow allows me to have the freedom that I need on a daily basis without having to put my world on hold for a pumping session. Pumping with the freezer bags makes it super easy and mess free. The only reason why I give Willow 4 stars is because the refill containers need improvements. When pumping with them, the pump volume is not accurate on the app compared to what you actually pump into the containers. They also leak when you go to take them apart and dump the milk into a bottle. So you lose some milk in the transition process. Definitely recommend using the freezer bags when pumping due to the accuracy of the milk volume and being mess free. Overall, the willow pump is worth every penny. I wish I would have had this pump with my first born.

At first I was unsure of this pump, but once I got the hang of it I realized how convenient it is. I mostly use this pump at work because pumping directly into the bags is quick and sanitary. Also until I figured out how to flip to finish and not have the containers leak was a challenge but I finally understand what I was doing wrong! The only con of this is how expensive it is to buy bags and I feel like I’m losing out on some of the milk that gets stuck in the bags when trying to empty them into a bottle.

So I've now used 3 different types of pumps. My sister gave me a cheap-ish pump at my baby shower, then I purchased the Willow because I'm a working person. But a couple of times the Willow has just quit on me, so I also got a manual breast pump in the middle of the night from Walmart once while I was on a trip. I think it's just too delicate. Like I said, it's only been a few months and I've already had two major issues with them. And when you need to pump, it HURTS and there's no alternative. 1. It's definitely NOT clean. You need a sink when you pull them off. I've yet to find a way to do it without a good few tablespoons escaping down my shirt or in my lap. If you pull them off right you can keep it contained, but there's no way to transfer it to a container or even put it down without spilling unless you let out the milk that's in the flanges and in the tubes themselves. 2. You cannot do yoga or any real work while you wear them. I typically sit quietly. They're heavy and if you bump them they will get out of alignment and stop pumping. 3. They are not silent. In a quiet room or on an airplane you can still hear them. I know this from personal experience. NOT worth the money. That manual breast pump I got from Walmart for $30? A much quieter, cleaner, more effective option. That's what I put in my bag now for travel instead of the Willows. They sit on my shelf. I can't trust them anymore.
For $500 I’m not impressed in the slightest. I won’t use my Willows unless I have to go into the office. I’d rather be tied down to my Spectra that was half the price. The Willow pumps are loud. The volume pumped is always off by at least an ounce. Other pumps offer you to edit the amount pumped for portables, not these. Not thrilled with the way customer service handles issues. The only positive I have is how easily they fit in my bra. You still have to be careful though because if you bend too far over, you will spill.
I ordered my Willow 3.0 as a complement for my main pump. I have an older child in addition to my newborn and I needed a pump that freed me up from wall plugs and tubing. Originally, I was intending to use Willow a few times during the day while still using my workhorse pump in the evenings and overnight. However, I have found Willow to be so convenient and effective at draining my breasts that I have completely switched over! Willow gets that last 1/2 ounce that my main pump could never coax out. A few notes: 1. Sizing IS extremely important. You will likely need to test drive a few flange sizes while adjusting to Willow. 2. Watch all of the instructional videos in advance to familiarize yourself with the technique to using Willow. 3. Look up the Willow adjustment protocol. Some women require time to acclimate their nipples to the different sensation that Willow uses to pull milk. Don’t get discouraged after one day. All in all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will recommend this product to any moms in the market for a breast pump.

The ease of pumping wireless is why I bought this product & I'm glad I did.
