Broken upon opening. Also, Doesn’t even match the crib we have in this exact model that it is supposed to go with.

We got this conversion rail for our Hanley crib. It was easy to put on, but it is made from a much denser wood and bends pretty easily. Ours arrived with a piece of the painted wood splintered. I ripped it off and smoothed it down. Not what I expected.

I don't understand the design of this toddler rail and why it only goes half way. The high part of the rail should actually extend out about 65-75% of the way so that the toddler feels secure and does not fall out in the middle of the night. We added an extender (a different brand), but it looks ugly and tacky and defeats the purpose of buying the $99 Hanley toddler rail to begin with.

While this seems like the best option to convert your crib, it's not. The actual guard is so short, leaving your transitioning toddler feeling insecure and for us, waking often. While we kept this guard instead of returning it, we added a 3 inch wide pool noodle under the mattress cover to help our little guy stay in bed and feel secure. Save yourself the money and get a pool noodle.

Love it! My boy is 16 months old and making the decision to transition him now was the best thing ever! We tried an aftermarket railings but it just didn't sit right... was a little to long making it a little difficult for him to climb in and out on his own. Most nights he still wakes up in the middle of the night, but at least now when he wakes he doesn't cry. He just sits up and looks around and then when he's ready he'll climb out of bed and call for me! Before he would scream and cry like he was locked in a cage! Much nicer now!

The toddler rail was easy to install, and fits perfectly. We have had the crib two years with no issues whatsoever, great quality.
