Broken Leg within a Few Weeks

This was a nice toy for my 7 year old until the leg broke. She is pretty gentle and did not do anything to cause the problem, so we are disappointed. I didn't expect this toy to be very durable, but I also didn't expect it would break so quickly, without rough handling. I can't see under the fur covering to try and fix it, and would damage it further to rip the fur off. We are now taking care of the dog as if she has a broken leg, so it's a lesson in caring for the sick or injured...
