Weleda Baby 6.8 fl. oz. 2-in-1 Gentle Shampoo & Body Wash with Calendula

I purchased the Weleda Calendula Shampoo and Body Wash for my baby whilst I was pregnant. I chose Weleda as they have a reputation for gentle products using natural botanicals. The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell. The Calendula is a subtle scent that isn't overpowering which is always important in a baby product. Only a pea sized amount is needed, the packaging is a generous size and I still have a substantial amount left even after 3 months of frequent use. My baby has reactive skin which calms after using this product. The best part is when I wash his hair, the product runs over his eyes without any irritation and zero complaint from him, it's that gentle. I would recommend the Weleda Calendula Body Wash and Shampoo to anyone looking for a gentle product that makes bath time a breeze.

I bought this soap because I do lots of research on items with clean ingredients and this was one that I was comfortable trying. This soap seems to get my baby very clean without much effort and smells amazing! My baby smells freshly bathed for days! I am pleased with the way it works on the body as well as the hair. I am also able to fully rinse out of her hair easily. Definitely recommend this one!

This is very gentle and creamy based so it would be ideal for sensitive skin or baby skin. It's a great body wash to use on my arms which have a tendency to get itchy - especially my upper arms. This smooths on and doesn't suds up much - just a little and then rinses off easily to leave skin clean and nurtured. My arms don't feel itchy and irritated after using this - it is soothing for the skin. It's handy that it's also a shampoo and it is a creamy white one that has natural ingredients and leaves my hair soft and clean. I like to focus it mainly on my scalp with a good massage and then rinse it out. It rinses quite easily especially considering how this is aimed at more gentle cleansing rather than a sudsy one. After rinsing this out really well I then add a conditioner and comb out the tangles. It would be a great product to take travelling because it's a two-in-one but it is also fantastic for gentle baby cleansing from head to toe. It has a light organic ingredient sort of scent. It is aimed for use for babies so I expect that is why the scent is so very light and delicate. I don't have a baby here to test it out on but after using it for myself I expect this would be an excellent baby hair and skin product. I absolutely love that it's also a no-tears formula. I like the yellow packaging because it suits the ingredient Calendula and the little curved top of the tube makes it a bit different to other tubes too.

I chose this baby shampoo because it rates higher than other brands for containing healthier ingredients. As recommended by an ophthalmologist for maintaining eye health, I use baby shampoo to wash my eyelids, rather than the far more expensive eyelid cleansers. This one, is mild, doesn't sting the eyes at all, and is pleasant to use.

Best baby wash so far for newborn baby. Very gentle on babies skin.

We love the entire Weleda line, it can be hard to find but it's totally worth the search. This stuff is great as well as the diaper cream. Our baby has sensitive skin and has never had an issue with anything from Weleda.

This shampoo and body wash combo seems very gentle, yet cleaned well and left his skin nice and soft. I was very pleased with this product.
