Useful jar
I have another big jar but I wanted to use different jar for smoothies and other stuff so bought this one. Happy with the product
Vitamix is the best.
I bought the extra container for my Vitamix and I love it.
Vitamix container. It is a good size.
It is great. I love it . Very handy.
Excellent backup
The smaller size 48oz packs better when traveling for weeks. Power seems equally sufficient as with the larger containers, but larger frozen fruit pieces (bananas, pineapple, mangoes) don’t grind as efficiently as the taller 64oz container seems to handle them. The tamper works, but feels thinner and lighter than the same OEM item. Overall, it’s an excellent backup container when the first one is still in the dishwasher.
Missing piece to our collection
When my husband and I bought our Vitamix, we purchased the 32 oz dry container to go with the 32 oz wet container that came with it and added on the 64 oz container. In 3 years of using our Vitamix, I frequently made recipes that required a container in between the 32 and 64 oz containers. We put the 48 oz container on our wedding registry and couldn't be happier. It was the missing piece to our collection and gets just as much use as the other containers we own.
Perfect Size
I purchased this one to replace the larger one that came as part of the original purchase. I love this size!!! I make daily smoothies and this is easier to clean, fits under my cabinet and I could put it in the DW if I choose to. It came quickly and I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. I'm very happy with my purchase. And of course the quality is what you'd expect from VitaMix.
