Package says it's water resistant. But after the first rinse it doesn't work! Barely even got it wet.

I am a big Vick's fan, and wanted to love this thermometer but it broke after the second use (we have only had it five months and it was stored correctly). It said my infants temperature was extremely low which worried us, but luckily we had a back up in the house and were able to get an accurate temperature without our backup thermometer.

I get that you do not want to stick the thermometer in too far on a baby's bottom, but for my older daughter, this does not work. If I take it laying on her stomach, she complains the thermometer is too uncomfortable (between her bottom). The only way I can use this thermometer on her is to have my daughter lay on her back and hold her legs in the air...I can then take it in her bottom but she is embarrassed of the position.

Easy to use. Great to have on hand. We aren’t worried about hurting our son.

Definitely a learning curve that your baby will not appreciate

As a first time mom I was scared of having to take rectal temps lest I go in too far/not enough, but this thing totally solves that! It is fast and baby doesn't seem to mind it at all. Love this thing!

Can be used under the arm, tongue, in the ear—use your imagination. Quite accurate. Gives prior temperature before current use.
