Cute teether - needs grippy stick

I got this for my five month old because he just wants something in his mouth at all times, and quickly realized he needed the accompanying grippy stick in order to be able to keep control of it. I haven't used the strap to attach it to his clothes yet, but I ordered the grippy stick separately and now he can finally use this much better and now I can see that he likes it. Before he was always dropping it.

The idea of the egg is great, however, it's a little large for my baby to suck/chew on. She loses interest very quickly.

My 6 month old grand-daughter loves her teething egg! it is a very good buy that gives babies comfort while teething. Highly recommended.

Decent for beginning teethers

We purchased this for our first baby for her first Christmas (6 months old). I had seen the ads for these and had purchased one for my friend's baby shower so I was curious. We had started to enter the teething phase and these were advertised for beginning teething (i.e the front teeth). Our baby was able to hold this but was pretty neutral about it in general. She would go to it occasionally but would chew on other things as well, such as the silicone pacifier clips or silicone banana. Every baby is different so you never know what will work until you try it. Our second baby is on their way, so perhaps they will gravitate to this when they start teething.

The intention of the teething egg is great. My little guy loves the rattle in it, but he started teething so early that the egg is too big for his mouth. He is getting teeth in the front and back, and this can’t reach the back to soothe him. We will tuck it away until he is a little bigger.

I only gave this 4 starts because our daughter NEVER uses teethers. I can't get her to put ANYTHING in her mouth; which seems to be the opposite of anything I've ever learned about toddlers and babies. She sometimes would put this in her mouth and gnaw on it because it made a squeak noise when her gums tightened down on it. That's about the extent of things she'll use to soothe her gums.

My now four-month-old daughter has to have it with her at ALL times. She absolutely loves it. And the clip is the best ever. We have had problems with other brands slipping off with barely a tug. Looking forward to getting more products!

Definitely not worth the price tag. My baby didn’t dislike it but also wasn’t really into it. Didn’t seem to offer much teething relief. Don’t waste your money.
