Pout Pout Fish was given to us at our baby shower and it soon became the favorite book of our household. So much to the point of purchasing almost the entire collection of Pout Pout Fish.

We bought this for our 10 month old and she loves it and so do mom and dad! It has a good story and the rhyming is so cute! Love this book!! We want to get the other Pout Pout Fish books too!

I was unsure about this book when I saw the title. However, my friend’s 3 year has the book (and has had it for the last year and a half. Great book to have for your child!

I think we loce the book more than our daughter. So fun to read, amazing illustrations, prose is fantastic and creative. A great message about how your attitude can affect others.

While the book is cute in of itself, be sure to flip through it before giving as a gift. I attended a baby shower where we were to bring a book instead of a card and imagine my surprise and panic when I realized the day before that 3-4 pages were bound completely upside down. This was not intentional! It was embarrassing to have to explain to the Mom to be that I was having BuyBuyBaby ship her another book due to this unfortunate error. I was happy that BBB replaced the book at no charge.
The repetition, alliteration, and sweet story line make it a winner for ages 3 to five. Delightful illustrations. Read it aloud often enough and the child will have it memorized in no time.Wonderful for introducing sea life to children
