The First Years™ American Red Cross Infrared Forehead Thermometer

I'm really disappointed by this thermometer. It just is not accurate. Seems to be at least one degree off. For a newborn that makes a big difference.

This product doesn’t work correctly all the time

I wanted a new thermometer with COVID and my prior experience with forehead ones wasn’t good. The fact that it was from the American Red Cross made me feel confident it would work. You have to be patient and give it a second to load up after turning it on but other than that it works excellent.

Point and shoot, only takes a couple seconds.

It is a lot easier to get the temperature of a young child than it used to be! You get results much quicker than with an old fashioned thermometer. I will definitely continue to use this in the future. I would highly recommend it to others!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the thermometer doesn't have to actually touch them to get an accurate reading. Trying to get a kid to sit still or trying not to wake them up to get their temp is impossible. This is the perfect solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Tomy infrared thermometer. It is super easy to use. The instructions are clear and simple, and the device works great. It also has a very sleek, nice design. Much better than any sublingual thermometers that I've always traditionally used. This makes it so much easier to not have to try to hold a thermometer in place under a child's tongue. I had never seen one of these before but I am glad to have the opportunity to use one. very accurate as well readings!
