Summer™ Wood Banister and Stair Safety Gate in Gray

I called because missing parts, they said order a new one and she hung up on me.

The description doesn't mention that unless you have a studd across from your Banister you can't install it at the top of the stairs. This is actually a small note well into the installation instructions. I was unable to install at the top of my stairs and it was too narrow to put down the hallway.

This gate works perfect on our banisters. There’s nothing at the bottom to trip over, it opens and closes easily with one hand, it keeps our son off the stairs. Good purchase so far! Have had it for a month.

Simple install. Works great. My wife was a little put off by how hard you have to squeeze the handle to open it, but she got over it quickly. I had no trouble at all.

I purchased this gate for my dogs and baby that will be arriving soon. It was challenge putting it together with how our stairs are set up but after 3 hours of putting things together i got it right. I would recommend making sure it works for your set up before making any holes in the wall. The only thing that didn’t work was the spacer they provided. I used my own spacers do to the larger gap near the baseboard. I would recommend this gate.
