bottom locking mechanism does not engage. the top mechanism goes in but bottom is stuck out. brand new. piece of garbage. do not buy.

This product has a defect with the opening and closing of the door on the gate.. does not open close or fit correctly. I reordered another one it came back the same way or worse .. I then looked at reviews that I should have done in the beginning and they all had the same problem . This manufacturer needs to look into this because it’s not good.. majority of these gates I’m sure are returning back to the seller . Nice look and would be sturdy if it didn’t have this defect.

This is a beautiful and sturdy gate. However, the gate does not align with the other parts so it is impossible to lock the door. For this price, I expected more than that from this gate.

I bought to contain dog in area with 59 in opening. Got this gate because it says 60 in. The small and med extension was not in the box??? Do too short not able to use gate

Just bought this the store, set it up in the doorway and realized the upper locking mechanism was broken. On further inspection, looks like one of the wooden pieces is cracked as well. Bummed as this gate looks great and had higher expectations.

It is easy to install and looks beautiful! Matches the wood in my house

On one of three gates, the wood (looks like the horizontal slat on top) is warped so that the top latches and the bottom still sticks out about 3/4” and doesn’t latch at the bottom of the gate requiring having to twist the bottom of the gate to get it to latch. I’ve confirmed the touch points are perfectly plum so it’s not a matter of the install being asymmetrical. I’ve also tried installing this gate in 2 different locations and had the same issue both locations. The other two gates are perfect.

Fits our 59 inch doorway opening perfectly. Easy to use the locking mechanism. I like that the gate will stay in an open position when needed. The gate looks nice as well.
