Summer™ Secure Space™ Extra-Wide Safety Gate in Grey

This product was an absolute pain to install. It also doesn’t feel as sturdy as I hoped it would.

I received an already been used gate. All the secure straps were already cut and the bad of tools was busted open like they just replaced the missing pieces. The gate wad horribly constructed. Welded completely wrong. The gate latches wouldn't even align because of the uneven gap created from a bad weld. Bye Bye Baby hello TARGET AMAZON OR WAYFAIR cause this AINT IT

I don’t understand how this product has positive reviews. The assembly has a disconnect between a hang tag and the instructions. The door is off-center and will not work. My wife and I are both civil engineers plus my focus is construction I literally build for a living. What a frustrating experience and waste of valuable time. Look for a better product with quality assembly.

This gate was the best we could find on the market and we purchased several trying to find the best fit. It fits our hallway, our stairs (top & bottom) which are different styles and width. It’s very easy to use once you get used to opening with one hand (those first couple of tries are tough). I would absolutely recommend this one for all sorts of standard uses

It took over 2 hours to get tension right for the gate door to line up. Worst gate we’ve ever bought but also the most expensive. I bought 2 and 1 box didn’t even have the hardware in it.

The various slide in sections to get the right width was nice. But they are tight fitting and I used a mallet to seat them. The built in spread at the top makes you tighten it up securely, but takes a lot of turns on the screws. It took me a while to figure out the second set to open the gate (lift it straight up) and that was frustrating. I did not use the wall cups they supplied. The rubber ends held fine and I was not about to permanently install the cups in the wall and hand rail. Used it once so far. Come apart (I used my mallet again) and store’s nicely in the box. Pricey, but good product.

Bought 2 of these gates. They work perfectly to keep our giant bunny in his space. Love them!
