Storkcraft® Modern Changing Table in Vintage Driftwood

Went to build it yesterday and most of the pieces were damaged and now have to send it back.

I do not know how this item has any positive reviews at all. I was purchased this item as a gift from my baby registry and my husband put it together today. I’m pretty certain we received one that was returned and resold, as many of the screw holds were stripped, the paint was peeling on one of the shelves, and some of the pieces of wood were cracked/chipped. The worst, however, is the smell. This item absolutely reeks of chemicals. Our entire house smells like chemicals now, and our nursery is impossible to spend time in because of how strong the chemicals smell. I’m 8 months pregnant and this cannot be safe to inhale. We’re trying to air it out but I’m concerned that everything in the nursery is going to smell like these chemicals. It took my very capable husband 2 hours to put this together because of how awful the instructions were. Yeah this item looks cute, but I am extremely disappointed that buybuybaby found it acceptable to sell this to a customer. And it’s not like you can easily return an item that’s already started to be built, too much of a hassle. Don’t buy this.

Our item came a little bit damaged. It was challenging to assemble and the screws on the furniture are all very visible. It would have been nice if the company included stickers to cover them up. What surprised me most is the smell of the furniture. It has an extremely strong chemical smell. I am happy we assembled it weeks before the baby got here to give it time to air out. We have had air filters in there for three days and I can still smell the chemical scent from the room adjacent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Storkcraft - Modern Changing Table is a very useful product, and the white finish and clean look will look great in most rooms. The shelving is very spacious and overall a very very useful nursery furniture for a baby. Our only issue is that the quality could be be a bit better - some of the corners of the boards chipped and overall it doesn't give off the feeling of being very sturdy. We will definitely enjoy it, but not sure how long (or how many moves) it will last.

I love the extra space to place all the elements we need when changing baby like lotion and wipes. The assembly was easy but the unit does not come with instructions so if you need them, you might need assembly help. The storage under is perfect to classify everything but not as deep as you might want it to be. Again, this is perfect for small spaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Changing table with storage is such a great combination with the option to remove the changing table to turn into a toy box/storage for your young ones. When buying a changing table you end up getting rid of it once it is no longer needed. BUT with this you have the option of keeping and using it for years to come. Very easy to put together & the instructions were pretty straight forward & easy to read. I did use wood glue when putting it together to secure the screws to help it last longer. I do this with all tables/stands/dressers etc. Its great as a changing table and I can fit plenty of stuff in the storage compartments below. You have 2 small ones and a larger one on the bottom. Once my baby no longer needs the top part I can transform it into a toy box for her in which will help keep toys organized. Makes her room look really nice and I couldn't be more pleased with it. Its very sturdy this Dad approves & I definitely recommend.

It has a great amount of storage space with its little cubby space and I like that it can be used later when I’m not needing it for changing table for storage for later.
