Storkcraft® Kids Marco Island Full Captain's Bed with Trundle and Drawers in Gray

I bought this bed for my grandson who’ll soon be three years old. However, he’ll never get to enjoy it. The shipment was delivered in fours parts: with 3 of 4 boxes I had to have a trace put on them with FedEx. After they finally arrived, 1 of the 2 headboard(s) was cracked, and at least one-half of the nuts & bolts were missing. This was obviously a resold item. I don’t recall being asked if I’d like to buy a used bed, slightly damaged and missing parts? Today I tried to get help, but what I got was the worst experience speaking with a staff member at Storkcraft. They are the manufacturer, where the product built and the location my packages were shipped from. Next I spoke with a representative from Bed Bath and Beyond, so far BBB has been empathetic. I’m awaiting the final outcome. Until then, beware and good luck.

I bought the the beds for my kids so there would be more room to play around in their room. It did not come with all the nuts/bolts to put the bed together so we had to buy them and then when my daughter sat on the bed the middle support broke and when you call the company they say oh well and also it doesn’t fit a standard size twin mattress

I love that it has the pull out drawers on the bottom for clothes or toys the extra storage is so nice. My son loves that he can have sleepovers and be able to have a place for his friends to sleep. The trundle is such a nice feature

The trundle underneath is great for sleepovers or when grandma visits. We love the built in storage drawers. A perfect choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely adore this bed for our 2.5 year old! She loves it so much and says it’s her castle, because of how high it is. My husband put it together in 2.5 hours on his own. I love that the bottom three drawers provide extra storage. I also adore that it has a pull out for another mattress to go on! It’ll be perfect for sleepovers as my daughter grows up. Overall we are extremely impressed with this bed and love how sturdy it is! Even with a jumping toddler it holds up perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed exceeded our expectations. When we moved into our home, I needed a bed that would fit both my little guys. I am terrified of bunk beds as my littles are crazy. I came across the Trundle bed and was so thrilled. This bed is such high quality and function-able. Would buy this product over and over again :)

While the lower bed is a single, it is a challenge getting a mattress to fit. Anything over 4 inches would no allow the lower drawer to close. All I was able to get from the mattress store was a 4 inch sponge that I had to our a mattress pillow to get some comfort.

When putting together the trundle, one of the screws provided would not screw in the treaded hole with SOFT metal insert. The tu reads stripped and now I’m stuck with a trundle that has a rail that won’t hold up.
