Suction is better than other brands and regular EZPZ.

The Stokke Steps tray is textured which makes most "suction"ware virtually useless against baby's will to up-heave meals onto the floor. At a last resort, we decided to give this tray a try. It WORKS! The mat isn't a traditional suction mat that sticks to surfaces. If you pull up from the sides of the MAT it will EASILY slide right off. However, if you pull up from the sides of the BOWL (which your baby will be trying to do) the mat sticks and doesn't budge. I've tried this on the Stokke Steps tray, wood table, marble counters. So far, it works the same on either surface. Hoping that either the Stokke Steps tray will either change with a new edition, or ezpz creates other versions of these mats (different compartments, etc.). For now, this mat has been a floor saver.
