I recently started using the Soma water pitcher and soon after bought their carafe too. I love them both! My water is clean, odorless and tastes great. I love these products because of their simple and beautiful design. I always get compliments whenever I have them out on the table at home. In addition to having a great product Soma is a sustainably conscious company who cares about their impact on the world. Knowing part of every filter purchase is donated to charity:water, an organization who is working to bring clean drinking water to underdeveloped places around the world makes this product that much better. I know what all my friends and family are getting for their birthdays this year :)

Having tried many water pitchers over the years, I had high hopes for this one. It looks great but didn't really work for me. The pitcher spilled water all over the counter no matter how I tilted it. I tried pouring really slowly but to no avail. Water still spilled whether I was filling a glass or the reservoir of my coffee maker. I also was not thrilled with the wooden handle. The manual advised not getting water on it when washing the pitcher. This would have required making contortions I wasn't prepared to make. I returned it to the store and went back to a Brita pitcher.

Do not hesitate and buy this pitcher!!! I almost let the bad reviews lead me astray… best tasting water I’ve ever had from a pitcher. I love that purified taste from Disani and this gives me just that. I was a bit concerned at first because I could see the black flakes from the charcoal when I opened up the filter and the jar was a bit squeaky, but the squeakyness went away after I washed and filled it and the charcoal residue didn’t show up in my water. Perfect!!! I never leave reviews and I shop A LOT and this was well deserved!!!

I wasnt expecting this to surpass my current water filter with taste, but with comparison it really has an refreshing, less after taste and the filter is great looking as well.

I love this water pitcher from Soma. It was everything I had hoped for, despite negative reviews. It fills up faster then the Brita, no spill problems when pouring, water taste fantastic. I do not have good water, and my Brita just didn't cut it with the taste. This is the best and looks great also.

I've had the Soma filter for almost a month now, it filters well and has a sleek design. Not only do I prefer the look of it to a Brita but I love that it is sustainable and a much more thoughtful product as a certified B corp product. The reason I am giving it 4 stars opposed to 5 is the design of the handle, when the filter is full it is heavy and the design of the handle as supportive as it could be.

I’ve been using this brand for 3 years. The first pitcher was great. The second one delivered was soiled which I returned. The third one was clean but has started staining inside in the filter compartment and even after cleaning the stains don’t come out. I sent pics to the vendor as this could lead to serious problems. But they haven’t bothered to reply. I am never going to buy this product again!

…but the lip (mouth) is tricky not to spill each time when pouring. Pointing the nose down quickly seems to be the trick to it.
