I initially got this play gym because the colors were very soft (some are so bright and ugly). I always liked the hanging toys feature but now that our baby is sitting up I took off the crossing bars so its a play mat and it's perfect. The padding around the outside is great if he loses his balance and it keeps his toys contained within reach.
We added this to our registry because we loved how soft it was and my husband absolutely loved the colors and animals. Although it serves its purpose, it is very basic. And for that price I wish I would've considered that more. Ultimately it was our fault but I would suggest getting more for your money. The loops on this are so low that the toys sometimes hit my baby in the face when he hits it. and the other loops are too high up. Don't waste your money on this. get a colorful one with better toys.

This was a gift for a baby shower that the Mom had chosen - I guess she just loved this

Received as a baby shower gift. The musical bunny doesn’t play when the foot is pressed. The only way to change the batteries to open the bunny by the seams. We purchased the specialized batteries and the bunny still did not play any musical. This activity gym is defective and I 100% would not get again.

Love this, the last activity play set had plastic attachments that held ir up and they broke before the baby got to use it.
