We tried 4 chairs before settling on this one. I was looking for a chair that could fold if needed, had a flat tray with a seat anchored crotch post, and machine washable padding. I'm so happy it also looks great and blends with my decor. This chair is very sturdy and comes mostly assembled. My only complaint is that it takes a little fussing to get the chair back to lock when reclining. I have to wiggle it several times to make sure it sticks. (I'd deduct half a star from my rating if I could.) The tray slides easily and can hang off the back when not in use. The padding is thick and wipes down easily. I have not had to launder yet, but it's easy to remove pad and straps. The lowest height setting is flush with our standard height table. Medium allows the tray to clear the tabletop. Highest is about 33" so might not work for counter height. The legs have a footprint of 32"x20" and don't mark our hardwood floor. I look forward to years of use as well, thanks to the step stool option.
I have been searching and searching for a high chair that’s nice to look at and good for baby, verse the old bulky ones. I finally decided it was time to choose the sleek grey high chair that seemed sturdy, good features and would look great in my home. I put the high chair together and my average size, on the small side 7 month old had to squeeze into the high chair. The tray had to remain on the last spot in order for her stomach not to be completely squished. There are 3 more clicks the tray can be pushed in, with it needing to be on the last one, the tray dips down on a small slant. Which, may not pose a risk to my 7 month old, but a one year old, especially a 2 year old would be able to push this tray down in no time. The fact that the baby can’t fit in the high chair at 7 months is really concerning. The most any family could truly get out of this high chair is up until one and a half, and thats being if you have an extremely petite child. It’s upsetting to think a company would make a product and not realize through testing they children’s belly’s are completely squished upon changing the different levels of the tray. I’m frustrated I have to go through the trouble of putting together and taking apart, but I’m happy I finally got to see this sleek product is nothing more than nice decor for a home, not a good high chair for children.

I really wanted to love this high chair, I love the Skip Hop brand products and really liked the look of this chair. I just don’t like the mobility, the wheels don’t move (at all) and it makes moving the high chair from one spot in the kitchen to another very inconvenient.

Overall, the chair is okay. The step stool (and highchair itself) is a little bulky. The ability to fold is helpful in a small kitchen, and the "stepstool" set-up is an attractive feature. My biggest complaint (aside from overall bulkiness which may not be the easiest to avoid) is the material of the seat cover. Despite washing per the instructions, the outside layer of coating is peeling off. I will soon need to replace the entire chair. I fear that the peeling [plastic?] will be a hazard when my little one inevitably tries to eat the flaking coating. The chair is unusable without it because of holes in the plastic seat underneath. Not a bad chair, but I haven't used it nearly long enough to need a replacement and my bank account certainly is ready for that either.

This is an awesome high chair. We have a toddler and an infant. Love that it has options that they can both use! Definitely recommend to parents with multiple kiddos!

This was April. It's not that hot. We are not even running the AC yet. When it is actually summer, this chair will be completely unusable. If Skip Hop made an alternate seat cover in cotton or any kind of cloth, I'd happily buy a summer friendly chair cover. But I don't see any other options. Unless you live in Alaska, I recommend against this chair.

We loved the idea of this high chair and it was one of my favorite registry items. Unfortunately baby can only sit maybe 20m in this chair at a time before screaming. He loves it... right up until his back is drenched with sweat and red from overheating and he starts miserably crying. The material/fabric is some completely unbreathable, uncomfortable polyester. This was April. It's not that hot. We are not even running the AC yet. When it is actually summer, this chair will be completely unusable. If Skip Hop made an alternate seat cover in cotton or any kind of cloth, for this $200 chair, I'd happily buy a summer friendly chair cover as an accessory. But I don't see any other options. Unless you live in Alaska, I recommend against this chair.
I do like how easy it is to clean, and its pretty lightweight. The only thing i can say is it didn’t last long enough for my toddler to use a stool part like it’s intended too. The screws literally fell out and the stool part broke up without us even using it. Im glad my toddler was not actually using it. Even after trying to screw it back together.
