Just received mine today. And was super happy for my son to use this backpack for 1st grade. I really thought they were a little big. But they’re not. It fits a 1/2 inch binder, a pocket folder, and a notebook. And a pencil box. If you add more stuff it will be to tight. I mean is good in size. Compared to the smaller ones they have.

We love the little Dino book bags. We already had the little kid one, so when the big kid one came out we were excited to upgrade. However it's really not any bigger than the little kid one. Very disappointed on the size.

It just arrived and it is squared off at the top but angles downward and the front pocket isn’t as deep. It doesn’t hold any more and may even be a bit smaller.

It fits a ipad nicely but not a folder and on my 40 inch tall toddler it looks like a purse size back pack, not worth the price..
