I received the Sealy Stain Defense 2 pack of Stain proof/waterproof mattress pads free to try and have to say Im in love with this product. The Sealy Stain Defense mattress pads do exactly what it is supposed to do. Protect your crib mattress. These mattress pads keep liquid from ruining your crib mattress & from leaving stains or odors. I used this product on my toddler's bed, who occasionally has accidents in the middle of the night. (He loved the soft quilted feeling under his fitted crib sheet.) The pads fit a little tightly, & were a bit difficult to put on, but stay put and are easily covered by a fitted sheet. Repels liquid completely, which I assume end up getting absorbed by the fitted sheet. It is virtually undetectable on the mattress pads! The only way I knew was because he told me, and the pad was wet to the touch, but not underneath where the mattress is. Best part is you can just throw it in the washer/dryer and use the second one in the pack so your crib mattress is always protected. I totally recommend this product. It works great!
Poor quality. I washed/dried both covers together according to directions and the inner plastic lining melted together (on 1 of 2) making it not possible to fit on mattress. Buy Buy Baby easily exchanged for me and this time as a precaution I air-dried both covers. This time both covers were damaged (ripped seams). Very disappointed.

This 2 pack material was a little scratchy and unlike ones I’ve purchased previously. Still covers well but the material seems to tear easily.

These mattress covers are great to protect my baby’s mattress from getting soiled. The 2-pack provides a good value for the money. Be careful when putting this in the dryer, as I’ve had one ruined when the dryer was too hot. I line-dry this product now to be safe.

Washed and dried according to instructions and the inside melted together, so it can no longer be used on the mattress. I would recommend air drying if you use this product.
