This has a nice big container that hold a whole gallon of water. The options are easy to control. It is pretty quiet overall, really, it kind of creates more white noise so less wake ups. I will say that the light is SUPER bright at night. My kids don't sleep with night lights so this was a shocker. To solve this problem I put blue painters tape over the clear water viewing area to block the light & it created more of a true night light.
After about 1-2 weeks of use, with a daily refill and constant use, it was full of a red/orange bacteria. I'm soaking it in vinegar, but is it in some areas that I can't get to and I doubt it will come fully clean. I also only seem to have full blast or off as flow options - turning the dial doesn't seem to do anything, so the surface it sits on is always damp. Also the light ring is too bright in a bedroom. It makes it hard to fall asleep. For the cost of this compared to others, this was a complete bust and I'm very unhappy with this purchase.

I was hoping the light would not illuminate my baby's room but it did and unfortunately I had to return for that reason (I was very sad to have to do so). Would also be nice if offered in a smaller size, but I could deal with the larger size (if not for the light coming through).

The electrical components burnt right in front of our baby crib. This machine is a fire hazard!!! Now it stopped working after a year and I only used it during winter months. Not to mention the mold grows!!
We had the humidifier plugged in and used distilled water, but it still grew mold in the tank and in the base. It is also too bright for a child's/infant's room.

The Humidifier itself works well. I love the range of how much mist comes out and how large the container is. I feel it still gets a light pink mold relatively frequently compared to my regular humidifier. I also wish you could dim the UV light so it was not so bright for my child.

I chose this one due to no filter but despite cleaning with soap every 2-3 days and using vinegar as suggested in the periodic maintenance, it continues to show signs of pink mold.

One of the lights burnt out. Not sure why, our unit is only a few months old. We immediately stopped use to prevent it from becoming a fire hazard due to unknown electrical issues and apparent burning (see photo comparing the burnt light to an unburnt light)

I really like this humidifier; it's large, very quiet, and easy to clean. The only drawback is how bright the light is. I wish there was a way to dim it.

Hello I used this product for about 3 weeks and cleaned it just as instructions said. I developed a cough and phelm , doctor said if I've changed anything recently and the only thing was the humidifier Would not recommend
