This was the main item I shopped for and it wouldn’t stay stuck to the bottom of the bowl.

Overall, it’s a great idea. And when it stuck to the bowl it was perfect. But we went through 2 of these in a span of 2 weeks. The adhesive just wasn’t strong enough and it kept falling off the bowl. This design worked better for our bathroom but now we have to try and find something else instead.

While the outsmart the kiddos button and ability to keep the child from opening the toilet lid are pretty great, the overall functionality is quite less than. Once unlocked the entire strap and lock just kind of hang there, sticking out, right where your leg is once you go to use the toilet. So much so that if you catch it with your leg (and you will) it can break right off and be trash. Mine lasted literally 4 days. And it didnt pop off the toilet bowl, the strap snapped right where it goes into the piece that connects to the piece that sticks to the toilet bowl!

never attached to the bathroom. now I need to find and pay for a new product because of the bad quality of this one

The lock works great on the toilet, when it sticks. But even after cleaning it beforehand and making sure it was dry etc, the stick on portion just won’t stay on the toilet

The tape does not stick to the toilet bowl WHATSOEVER. It’s completely useless. As someone else said, unless I superglue it to the toilet bowl, it’s complete garbage.

Easy to install and use. At times it's difficult to open the lock, but it's probably because one (the adult) needs to get used to it (to be fair it's only been installed for almost 2 weeks).

I installed this according to directions but the adhesive on the part that attaches to the bowl fell off after less than a week!
