The instruction say to "Separate halves by disengaging snaps. We found this impossible to do. We gave up on trying to install them. Please note since the snaps are all opposing they cannot be disengaged as the directions are written

It was too small for my door knob it wouldn’t even snap shut. The ones they made 10 yrs ago were made larger and better thicker plastic. Wish I hadn’t thrown my old ones away

My son figured it out. Uses both hands and opens the door no problem. Worked for a little bit but bloodwe have to find something else

If they fit they would work. We do have standard door knobs. This things need to be adjustable for different size knobs. I can't even return them since they were part of a safety kit set so now all I can do is waste my money by throwing them out.
