We bought this for the opening between our kitchen and hallways that is 31 1/2 inches. It took all of maybe 5 minutes to get it put in place and ready to go. It looks great and the opening is plenty big enough for me which I was concerned about since I'm a big girl.

I like the more streamlined look of this safety gate, however it is so poorly made. The locking mechanism became "sticky" and jammed after about a month of use. This feels like a safety hazard if we need to quickly go through the gate and we're unable to open it. I'm extremely disappointed with this product. It's too late for me to return or exchange, but I wish I hadn't purchased this. Save your money and opt for something more reliable.

I read a lot of reviews about this gate and everyone is right the latch will become extremely difficult to open within days. I put some WD-40 on it right away and haven’t had a issue with it since and it’s been months. So if you wanna save yourself the return just give it a little spray.

The one we received doesn’t click to shut almost like the bars were made too short.

This gate is perfect and works well. We have not had one problem with it and it was a quick install.

Needed a gate - not for a baby - but for a little fur baby. This is perfect. No nails in the wall - so easy to install. Recommend highly. Thanks - just what I was looking for!!! :)

This stopped working only a few weeks after purchase. Sure enough, I came back and many reviews said the same thing. It got harder and harder to open, and even adjusting the side knobs didn't help. This was not a good use of money, should have spent more on a pricer model. Am switching to another Dreambaby gate because the other one we got is still working perfectly despite having been purchased and installed at the same time as this one. Avoid this one!!

We used the wall nanny with these gates and when installed correctly, they are incredibly sturdy. Great for taller and more robust toddlers.
