Safety 1st® Easy Install Cabinet Slide Lock in Grey (Set of 2)

Not sure what the purpose of these things are. The package says not to be used to lock away poisonous or dangerous items. Isn’t that why I bought these in the first place? Probably acceptable when visiting grandparents as a temporary and easy lock for kitchen and bathroom cabinets during short visits. Very flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Granddaughter is into everything and this cabinet lock keeps her from under the sink and away from the cleaning supplies. Easy to use, even with arthritis. We will definitely be buying more. Thank you Safety 1st.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is excellent! It's better than the ones I had before that installed on the inside and had to be pressed down to open. My toddler figured out how to open those! But he can't get in to anything with these sliding locks and I love them! I have already bought more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a basic problem that seems flimsy, but is actually just very flexible plastic. I was surprised that the plastic could bend as much as it did without breaking. That is a good sign that at the very least it is a durable and strong product, for the short time that I've had it is. I think there might be one flaw with the design in that it anticipates that you need the dexterity to push in two tabs and then slide the lock off of the product; however, you really only need to push in one tab (the side without the longer lock piece) and pull on the plastic part enough that it will slide out of the lock. I guess that would be the negative of having such a flexible material. You would need a toddler to probably be strong enough to still push the tab in, but nonetheless I still found that it could be opened without pushing in both tabs and fully unlocking both sides. Something to consider if you have older siblings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a handy little gadget! Having two kids both 2 and 4 is trying. To accomplish tasks and have eyes on both at all moments some days is impossible. I used this cabinet lock to secure chemicals under the sink and wow did it help. Definitely in comparison to other infant products I have tried this is 1000000 times better.. I found it effective, easy to install and easy to open. I definitely have seen these before, but never purchased because I was not sure that it would fit or function the way I would want, boy was I wrong. I will definitely purchase more and recommend. I even will buy some for my parents house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thankful for this kid of product, I can keep our cabinets locked and my toddler safe from getting any item not appropriate for his age, we bought a lot for our house, I think everyone who is a parent should get them too.
