Just had a certified professional childproofer check out my house, this failed. He's seen these break which becomes a choking hazard.
I bought these but didn't install them. You have to pre drill holes and then use 4 screws to install 1 latch. I don't have a drill and I didn't want to damage my cabinets.

These were purchased as a gift, but they are great. I have used before and they are very easy to install and use. They provide peace of mind for those with children and very crafty pets from areas of danger and/or unauthorized access.

Don't waste your money. These are such a pain to install on anything because they have screws. Worth it to pay for the kind that have sticky strips and magnets to save your sanity.

So when I had my twins I was able to put some latch that was smaller but with these my daughter sticks her fingers in between. So it defeats the purpose of needing these. It leaves a enough space to fit fingers in there. But she is not able to grab what's inside the cabinet so that's why I gave it 3 stars
