i can't for the life of me figure out how to use this. Doesn't seem to work for my hands! My husband likes it but when I clip baby's nails I use an adult nail clipper and hope for the best!

Accidentally cut my babies finger with these. Safe in that- if your kid gets ahold of them they probably cannot hurt themselves. However, for actually cutting nails- hard to see what you’re cutting. I never used these again.
I bought this thinking it would be easy to use and safe for baby’s tiny fingers but this clip was not convenient at all, every single time I picked it up to clip my baby’s nails, it’s just too bulky, I can’t see his fingers properly so I just use another clip for fear of pinching his fingers.
After two terrible incidents cutting our baby’s nails and accidentally cutting her skin (once by me and once by my husband), these went right into the trash. The safety guard makes it very hard to see what you are doing.

I have arthritis and these clippers are so easy to handle and I don't have to worry about cutting myself! I love them!
I love these clippers, the only thing I have a small complaint about is that I can't see where I'm putting them because the guard restricts my view of where I'm using them for myself. They are wonderful for my arthritic hands!!
Bought as a backup at grandparents house if needed.
