Safety 1st® 2-Pack Easy Grip Child Resistant Toilet Lock in White

I bought this thinking it would be a great investment for my toddler who loves to put toys in the toilet. Yes, it's easy to install, but the adhesive is extremely weak and does not stick. The top part where the button is located sticks great, and I can't get it off of my toilet lid. However the bottom adhesive came off as soon as I applied it. Not sure why they didn't use the same adhesive for both parts. Got no uses out of this product. I am very dissatisfied.

I had another version of this toilet lock in a previous bathroom and it worked great. This one has fallen off both toilets without anyone touching them at all. I've had to buy new toilet locks to replace them and it's been less than a week since I bought this version. Not a fan.

Purchased two of these and the bottom adhesive gave out less than a week after installation. Followed all directions and cleaned with alcohol prior just like it said.

Very disappointed. I followed directions and used alcohol pads (not included, you need to buy your own) to prep the toilet, but couldn't get the bowl adhesive to stick. For a safety product, seems dangerous to rely on poor quality adhesive.

I purchased the easy grip toilet lock to keep my toddler safe. It was fairly easy to install, but after only a month the adhesive has pulled off, and now the strap is sitting useless on the counter. A waste of money.

I had to call the company and get replacements. I used their template to place the locks on three toilets in our house, and the piece that stays on the lid when the toilet is in use hit the toilet tank on all three toilets. This prevented the seats from staying up when my husband used the bathroom (to urinate). I had to rip all three off of the toilets (they do not come off easily). I used the refund from the company to buy more and I installed them making sure the top latch part cleared the tank when the seat is up. They work fine now. Just watch out for where the template has you place it in relationship to your toilet tank.

I cleaned the bowl and lid, allowed to thoroughly dry, applied the lock, and didn't touch it for a couple hours. I went to unlock it and it wasn't even connected to the bowl. Waste of time and money.
