I understand under the tongue seems old fashioned, but still feel I get the most accurate readings. Easy to use and I feel confident it’s working correctly. Easy to clean, just some soap and water. Not sure if it’s waterproof but I only wash the lower part anyway.
I got mine and the battery didn’t work and I put on new batteries and still didn’t work

I bought this but I guess didn’t look carefully enough that it is not for newborns due to not being able take temperatures rectally. I searched for this product using those words but I should I have read the description more carefully. Otherwise this works really well for oral temp readings for older kids.

This thermometer works very well and also very quickly. No more waiting for two minutes! It is also very easy to use and read.
was told I would receive another -- have not!
Hope fully the thermometer is accurate - No way to know that w/o having it calibrated but you must be careful about pushing buttons! I changed it accidentally to C and had a heck of time making it go back to f.
Love this thermometer! It reads quickly and consistently. Great for older children and adults.

I really try to like this product. I bought this thermometer after I lost my basic pharmacy one. Not only was this almost 2x the price but it is not accurate. I purchase another brand from BB&B and that one is more accurate. The reading is way off, but to be honest I’ve only have tried to check temperature orally I haven’t tried other methods so I can’t say 100% it does not work but at least for me it didn’t work when I checked orally.
