Ring Spotlight Wired Security Camera

This is a fantastic security camera. The video is clear and even at night. The app has a choice of turning on the spotlight manually or by settings upon detecting motion. With the app it saves the video. It is very easy to use. I have had mine for over 5 years and it works great.

I purchased this product as extra security as I live alone and so far it's been the biggest waste of money. Firstly the mount provided was faulty so I had to wait for a replacement. 2 weeks later I could finally mount my camera and then the issues began. When there is a motion at my door it takes 5-10 seconds to load ... the video is blurry and then when it finally has stopped lagging the motion is over and I miss the entire event. The lag, the video and sound quality is terrible. I'd heard great things about ring cameras hence why I decided to purchase one but honestly they are a waste of money. Plus having to pay a subscription for a camera that doesn't even work how it's supposed to is ridiculous. I've had no subscription, no name cameras that work 10000 times better. The only good thing is the spotlight , it's very bright and works great. Overall don't waste your money

The spotlight camera was a little bit better than the the first two reviewed. The spotlight is a completely big difference as far as night time goes.

I love having the ring camera. Especially when it’s possible to get unwanted guests that try to sell you things, you can check and see if you should answer the door or not. Lol it’s definitely worth it.

I love that I can hook this camera up to a solar panel and it is always watching. I can check in on my backyard anytime and it even alerts me if there’s movement

The wide view is phenomenal, the picture is very clear both at day and night times. The zones are customizable as well as the sensitivity. It captures 100% of my 80ft property line. I purchased the wireless system, this comes with one battery, I also purchased the second battery for added time before recharging, this way you can leave one battery while the other one charges and never lose functionality of the camera. With this camera you can also turn on/off lights, speak through it and set a sleep mode.

I have never tried these before but have seen them on the addd and in magazine’s ext. I would love to get one I’ve been thinking of getting something like this for my house
