I should take photos but baby is asleep and i wanted to complain about this item. We asked for it on registry and thought expensive one would be great but it’s difficult to fill and taking the top off leaves water everywhere. I’d be glad to take a photo when baby is awake. Buyer beware!

I cannot stress how much of a mistake it was purchasing this chair and ottoman. For starters, the chair itself is absolutely lovely (I tried it out in the store). However, after MONTHS of waiting with no updates and not being able to get any information out of buybuybaby as to the status of my order… I finally received and email stating that there are on going “known” issues with the manufacture. They will let me know if they decide to cancel the product or they will send me an shipment tracking at some point with no date as to when I should expect to know. Well here I am, trying to talk to another customer rep (first one hung up because I asked them to tell me what’s going on with the order). Buybuybaby did mention that they do not have any actual information because it is in the vendor’s hands which means they do not keep vendors accountable to their customers. After hours of being on the phone Buybuybaby finally said they will return my money but will only give store credit or I have to go back to the store which is very far from my house. I understand everything is delayed at this time but this is rather ridiculous. I would just really really caution buying anything that is from this particular brand/manufacturer. Buybuybaby really needs to take this product off the shelf since both the store and manufacture have no communication as to the status of their orders.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously used a diaper genie in my daughters nursery. It worked well overall but I wanted some changes. Thank you Stellar Testing Panel for sending me a new diaper genie. This diaper genie fixed many of the problems I had with my previous diaper holder. It is much easier to cut the bags with the location and angle of the cutter. This diaper pale also has much better scent protection. It is capable of holding in the smell making it less noticeable in the nursery. I appreciated the changes and improvements made to the Diaper Genie.

Bought this one last year to replace the handmedown one I used for years which was fine and I should have never given away! After receiving the replacement one because the first one arrived damaged, we have just experienced nothing but issues. It never opens when you need it to like when you are up to your elbows in poop. Then if it finally opens the lid stays open and then it smells like poop all the time. My husband has tried adjusting it here and there. He says it is just the way it was made the 2 pieces don’t align. Well since we were busy with a new baby as well as our 3 year old I kept meaning to address. When I finally went to the store I usually go to, it was out of business. So I referred to my online order which is now a year ago so I guess I am out of options to actually finding one that works. Other friends have said the old ones are way better than the newer ones.

Every family member that has been helping us out found it super easy to use and much more convenient with the non hand touch foot pedal. There's nothing worse than when you are rushing to grab a toddler and have to keep your hands clean! I also can't emphasize enough of fresh my daughters room is every day!

I put it in in my sons nursery right by the changing table which was very convenient. I like that it has a pedal to open the diaper pail up and then you can drop the dirty diapers in. The diaper pail quickly shuts to try to keep the smell in. I do think there could be some improvements with the smell. As soon as you open it you smell all the nasty diapers in there and it stinks up the room for a short time. I do like how easy it is to change the plastic liners. However, it gets very expensive to have to buy the specific liners every 2 weeks or so. I also wish it fit more diapers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Diaper Genie Complete diaper pail has a simple design, and it is easy to use once you understand how it works and use it a few times. That said, I haven’t been able to find a diaper pail that I 100% love, but this pail ranks high on my list compared to others. I have a 10-month-old and 2.5-year-old and they both have very stinky diapers. With regards to the design, I like how sleek it looks plus it is very lightweight so easy to move around the house if I need it in a different room or floor. One huge benefit of this pail compared to others is that I don’t have to stick my hand all the way into the pail to get the diaper inside. However, there were a few times that I had to open and close the lid at least twice to make sure that the diaper went down into the bag. The process to cut and replace the bags was new for me and at first, I found it to be a bit confusing but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty great! I really like the continuous bag refill system and it is very clever. For the most part, I thought that the pail did a nice job of containing smells, but the pail let out odor every time I opened or closed it. Also, after cutting the bag to replace it with a clean bag, the odor of the last bag lingered in the pail and the room. There were times that I had to air out the diaper pail because I was smelling the contents from the previous bag. However, once the diapers sit in the pail and it is closed, I don’t smell a thing. Overall, it isn’t my #1 out of all of the diaper pails that I have used, but it is towards the top of my list. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Diaper Genie Complete was ok, but not great. The pail did not do a good job of containing the smell. You get a whiff of the dirty diapers when walking past and a strong odor when opening the lid. The foot pedal was convenient and prevented my hands from getting more soiled. However, I do have to push the diapers in slightly to get it in all the way. The antimicrobial refills are great in slightly helping keep odor under control. The Diaper pail refill was very easy to change out. The built in cutter is very convenient. I was given this diaper pail to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
