The mechanism to create tension has specific settings making it unable to securely fit. It’s either wobbly or unable to fasten completely secured.

So after purchasing this, it was difficult to setup this gate because the design is not the best I’ve seen. The gate is also short so if I put the gate to the ground my 1 year old can jump over it and potentially get injured. I position it a little off the ground which fixed that issue. However, the slats are so wide that when my son stands on bottom of gate and bends his legs his knee gets stuck in the gate. He screams and cries everytime and I literally have to pull hard to get his leg unstuck. Horrible design I should of got one of the regular baby gates that have small holes so babies don’t get stuck. I’ve had many baby gates and this is by far my least favorite one.
The gate is made very well and the color goes well with the room decor.

Did not fit our doorway at all
I was so used to the older model that this model made it a little difficult to lock into the doorway, but i was able to figure it out. LOL!!
