  • Start as early as 4 months old
  • Stage 1: Gradual introduction of the top 3 allergens: peanut, egg, and milk one-at-a-time
  • Stage 2: Continued exposure of the top 3 allergens
  • Empty the contents of one packet into a bottle with at least 2oz of breastmilk or formula, or mix with food
  • Shake bottle or stir for 10 seconds (works best with size 1+ nipples)

I started using this product when my baby girl was 4 months old. I went through the entire starter pack and a maintenance box. My little girl had no reaction throughout the entire time that she was using this product so I assumed that she didn't have allergies to milk, eggs, or peanuts. Fast forward a few months. One Saturday my husband and I decided to give her some scrambled eggs. She was gobbling them up and then we noticed that she started getting hives around her mouth and then they spread all over her body. For a first time mom, this was extremely scary. I thought her throat was going to close up. We ended up calling our pediatrician and she had us administer Benadryl. The hives went away and she was fine. But I wasn't fine. I was scared to introduce my daughter to any more allergens because of that moment. We ended up taking her to a pediatric allergist who tested her and she came back positive for eggs AND peanuts. I am telling you the story above because I want you to be aware that just because you use this product doesn't mean that you should automatically assume that your child has no allergies to milk, peanuts, or eggs. The actual product is very easy to use and the flavor is mild. I did notice that once you are on the end of the start pack and the maintenance stage packets, your milk/formula will take on a peanut taste. My daughter didn't mind it but just be aware. Also, sometimes the packets didn't fully dissolve and they would clog the holes on our como tomo bottles. I wouldn't consider this a *major* issue because all I had to do is shake it clear but again, just something to be aware of.

I was afraid that the powder might change the flavor of my breast milk, and her rice cereal that my daughter might not take it. I’m glad It didn’t affect the taste of the breast milk, my daughter did not reject it.

The powder doesn’t dissolve very well, despite milk being warm and shaking vigorously. I wish the packets were thinner. That would make it easier to pour into bottles. They’re too wide and I always spill some powder.

We absolutely love the product. We are very concerned with food allergies based on our family history, and now we have safely exposed our son to the top 3 allergens. However, the packets could be better. The square packets (for maintenance) always get powder stuck in the corners and the shape of the packets make it difficult to get the powder into a bottle.

As a new mom I want to do everything I can to ensure my daughter has the best of the best. I mean, don’t we all? With that being said, her health and wellness are definitely a TOP priority. When I came across “Ready, Set, Food!” It was a no-brainer! A product that can help minimize my child’s risk of developing a food allergy by up to 80%? SIGN ME UP! We have been using this product for about a week now and so far, so good! It’s quickly and easily mixed into her bottle and she takes it down like a champ! I just signed up for the monthly subscription service and couldn’t be more excited to put my daughters health FIRST and hopefully prevent any potential food allergies! The customer service has been outstanding and I highly recommend giving this wonderful product a try? What do you have to lose?
