This product is amazing! Our room had been smelling for days and we weren't sure why our diaper genie was letting out the dirty diaper smells. Then I realized the carbon insert didn't have a smell to it anymore. I searched at Walmart where I actually bought the genie and could not find any inserts. That's when I looked online and found buybuy Baby! Thank you so much! I ordered two packets and they came with 5 individual carbon inserts each. Best product ever.
Good idea, but it doesn’t work. It doesn’t make any difference the diaper can is still smelly.

I received this for my baby shower in May 2022. My baby is 7 months old, and the diaper genie has totally konked out. Yesterday, I couldn’t even get the foot pedal to work. And when I tried to open the lower compartment, that was jammed too. When I tried to remove the diapers I thought might be blocking it, the whole contraption fell apart, and the worst part is that it does not seem made to permit someone to reassemble it. So now I have the refill on my floor, and I’m putting diapers in manually. Seems a bit shoddy, considering my baby is not producing any more diapers than a typical child!

The whole thing fell right apart when my son was 7 months old. I put it back together, but whatever had broken has broken, and I'm constantly having to put it back together again. I just had to do it again today. It's pathetic.

I got this for my babe shower this year and have only used it for three months. The pedal at the bottom to open the diaper genie is broken and it won’t open without that piece working. Such a disappointment.

I’ve heard this is a must have for parents so we ordered one, however I was disappointed to discover ours was missing the carbon filter that is advertised.

We’ve been using it for 2 months and it just broke on us. It’s cheaply made. The top part won’t close and the foot pedal doesn’t work anymore either. Wouldn’t recommend, too expensive for the terrible quality is it.

The left side hinge broke on our genie, and now the lid just falls off when we open it, other then that it's good.
