We purchased these bottles because they feel good, look beautiful and are most importantly made of glass. We experienced the same headache that other reviewers have mentioned - that the seal on the nipple seems to slip off the grooves of the bottle. We contemplated returning our bottles but our son took to the nipples so well that we didn't want to change anything, so we tried to figure it out ourselves. It was simple. We noticed the nipple ring (the solid white part) would only slip off the bottle grooves if either part were wet. If the bottles were air-dried, no problems - but if we hand washed a bottle and tried to put it together a little wet, the ring would slip off the grooves. By simply drying the bottle grooves and nipple ring completely (with a paper towel), the bottles seal every time. The other great thing about these is that they are extremely durable. I've dropped a few on tile floor and they don't break! I did break one, but for all the drops we've had, that's not so bad.
This is the second time I have purchased bottles from philips and they leaked. Both products, a single plastic Avent Bottle, as well as this set of three natural glass bottles have faulty nipples. The milk leaked out around the base of the cap. I am very disappointed because I like the glass bottles and I primarily breastfeed but needed a good bottle for when I am out with my son. I researched many bottles and decided to purchase these because they are supposed to be easy to combine with breastfeeding. I also wanted to stop using plastic bottles and it was difficult to find a good set of glass bottles.

What is wrong with Avent making a plastic lead that cannot close properly and give you a mess and loss of milk!!! Plastic ring have a tendency to badly screw to the bottle and leave you with leaks when you shake the bottle or fead the baby. Love the glass bottle but seriously, can someone invent a lead that can screw properly to the bottle...

Like the glass bottle, overall seems durable as I have dropped them a couple times and they haven’t broken, however these constantly leak. I dry these in the baby brezza sterilizer/ dryer before putting them together and these still constantly leak. Super annoying and ends up resulting in middle of the night outfit changes unnecessarily.
I wanted to switch to bottles that were safe for my baby as I’m not a fan of plastic. I was hesitant to get these because of the reviews I had seen of the bottles leaking or not screwing on properly. I’ve been using these for a few days now and I’m so happy with them. No leaks, they aren’t too heavy, and I have peace of mind that my baby isn’t getting any harmful chemicals. 1000% would recommend.
I have been using these bottles for 2 weeks. I received the 3 pack from my registry. Unfortunately one bottle has already cracked. I have not dropped it. I have washed and sterilized it. Very disappointed as my daughter like the bottle but if they are going to crack easily I don’t intend to waste money buying more. I wish Philips warranty covered this for a period of time.
I should have read the reviews before buying. The bottles constantly leak, A LOT. May have something to do with bottle needing to be COMPLETELY dry before using.. unrealistic with feeding every 2-3 hours and constantly cleaning / sanitizing. Creating a baby bottle that can’t pass a leak test is absolutely idiotic, DONT BUY.. a cardboard box would be better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not want my son to have plastic bottles due to concern for chemicals so I sought out glasses bottles. The Avent bottles are the absolute best (and I tried several)! They warm evenly, are high quality glass, and my son takes them without a problem. It should be noted that you need a sleeve if you’re serving it warm but that wasn’t an issue for me.
