Philips Avent Glass Natural Bottle Baby Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Phillips Avent Glass Bottles for my 3 month old infant. The glass bottle is so easy to pop into the dishwasher without worrying that it will wear out or break down over time like a plastic bottle. Same can be said for popping it into my bottle warmer. My 3 month old took to this bottle without missing a beat. For reference he has been breast and bottle fed almost since birth (as a preemie baby he had a feeding tube for his first five or so days.) He’s struggled with acid reflux and gas since he was eight weeks old; because of that I really like that the nipple is designed to move air away from baby’s mouth. I do feel like it’s made a difference. I also like that the nipple is designed to not flow when baby isn’t actively sucking. As a preemie he actually gets choked while nursing or bottle feeding fairly easily a top feature for me that actually provides a measure of comfort. The silicone sleeves provided are great to pop on after getting the bottle out of the bottle warmer so the glass isn’t too hot to the touch. They also wash easily in the dishwasher, another added bonus. The Phillips Avent Glass Natural Bottles are a home run. I only wish I had more. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received these great bottles through the stellar product testing panel! The nipple was soft and pliable. It is a great feel and it’s nice and sleek. Great model for glass bottles. The baby responded well to the wide shape, and didn’t have much push back. The baby was able to latch with not trouble. The baby drank with no trouble. They could swallow and take great pause breaks while drinking. I like the quality of the glass bottle. I was apprehensive before with the glass bottle. When I was growing up did not have the greatest experience using glass bottles especially with breaking. These bottles made me change and feel different. The sleeves are a great added touch and helps out tremendously.

The silicon sleeve makes it easier for me and my baby to grip and more solid to hold. I think the quality of these bottles are great and I think they will hold up well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 month old ebf baby has been pretty fussy about bottles, however, with a few road trips planned over the summer I would like a little bit more flexibility so I was super excited to receive Avent Natural Glass bottle to test out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The bottles came in 4 ounces and 8 ounces in the package, I received. The package includes one silicone sleeve for each size bottle size. The bottles are heavy and did survive the accidental drop by my toddler on to a wood floor. The heaviness of the bottle did make it hard for my 6 month old to hold up the bottle without assistance. One of the three 4 ounce bottle had some slight smudge ml at 120 and 60 ml which has me concerned over time that the print might wear off over time, which isn’t a huge concern for breast milk but might be for a formula mama. Easy to clean and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Phillips Avent Bottles are pretty great. Best thing about them are no crazy chemicals leaching in to our precious babies milk. We try and avoid plastics and try and stick primarily to glass and silicone items the touch food or things that will go in our little ones mouths and bellies. These bottles are simple to use, easy to clean because they have minimal parts, and seem to keep our baby gas and colic free. Only real complaint with these bottles is that it seems to be easy to cross thread the ring that holds the nipple on and can easily be over tightened, wrecking the threads slightly which seems to lead to it happening more frequently. The bottles are also pretty heavy, so can make it hard if you are trying to get your little one to hold the bottle themselves. Oh one other complaint, the plastic cover to protect the nipple while traveling or in the fridge, it can be very hard to get this off sometimes, especially if your hand is wet. Overall though, we love this bottle. Super simple with few parts. Good for baby. Easy to clean. And can feel confident we are keeping harmful chemicals out of our baby's body. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start first with how sturdy and wonderful this bottle is. My family was impressed that they made glass bottles. I didn’t even know they made glass bottles so I felt safe giving it to my baby. Secondly how easy it is to clean. I was able to clean it and not worry about residue or the plastic was melting if I sanitized it. It was easy for my baby to take as I switch from breastfeeding to bottle. The wide nipple felt like a breast and I think that’s what made it easier. My baby was comfortable and was able to breathe during feedings and didn’t struggle. I love how it’s designed but with it being glass when you compare to plastic it is heavier which is understandable. I also love the silicone sleazes that came with it wish it included more. I highly recommend this bottle as I’ll be buying more. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this bottle for our 2 month old son to use, we have been an Avent fan for years but have never used their glass bottles before. We like the design, the quality seemed top notch and it held up well to washing. The silicone sleeves were also nice to protect the bottle from accidental drops and fit the bottles very snug so they were a seamless fit! The bottle itself was fantastic, the nipple however we did have a little trouble with, the response nipple is a little different than we are used to and our little guy is primarily breastfed and seemed like it took him quite some time to get anything out of the nipple with a size 1. The next time I fed him I used the size 2 nipple and it seemed a little better..the pause in flow is just something he’ll get used to I suppose! Overall we plan to continue to use, we just have to find the right nipple size that works for our guy at his current pace!
