My husband was in an awful wreck when our son was in the back seat, he was only 8 weeks old. He was hit almost head on, the other driver going 45-50 mph. Airbags deployed, both cars were totaled, the works. It was an awful sight to see. My son in the back seat? Completely unaffected. He had absolutely no injuries, and everyone from the paramedics, to the ER physicians we took him to just in case, praised the car seat, and our installation of the base. The base was easy enough to install, my husband had just installed it in that vehicle that morning. I can't praise this seat enough. On the way home from the ER that night, we stopped at BuyBuyBaby to buy another one.
We read tons of reviews online about the best and safest car seat; this one met the mark, so we thought. We absolutely regret buying and wish we could return. The base is impossible to secure properly, the shade makes a loud noise when opening and closing, my baby sweats terribly, the leg doesn’t have enough options to adjust to our car, extremely heavy with baby. Do not buy this car seat!

Beautiful car seat. We had one for my son when he was a baby years ago. Clicks into our Travel System booklet. Only downside is that for some reason the seat doesn’t always click in first try. You think it’s clicked in all the way but then the other side doesn’t click. Not sure if it’s a base issue

Not safe for Baby I was super excited when I bought this car seat. But once I start using it, I realized that It’s not completely safe for my baby. It actually not steady when you put it on floor and it lean backwards. Firstly I thought it’s because of low weight of my baby but it’s still having same issues after 5 months. I have to be very very careful when I put my baby on that car seat. Not recommend at all.

The pink is more subtle than it appears in the photo. Beautiful car seat and easy to assemble. Love it!

This review is for the Nido not the regular Primo Viaggio, which I believe is slightly shorter, nose to tail . We had to return this seat because it did not fit in our standard sized sedan. As another reviewer shared, the only option was the middle seat, but it still touched the two seats and we couldn't use the load leg because of the transmission hump, which defeated the purpose of buying this model. Otherwise, I really liked the look of it and the canopy was really nice. It's heavy though.
