Peg Perego Booklet 50 Travel System in Mon Amour/Rose Gold

I'm writing an update on my previous review... My husband and I still love this system after owning it for 8 months! I wanted a system that was an all-in-one, and that I could use for a long time because 1) we don't have a lot of storage and 2) for economical/environmental reasons.  The stroller is light weight and easy to open/close.  The car seat is very easy to place in the stroller (no attachments needed at all!!!).  A couple of small drawbacks with the car seat 1) my mother-in-law had a harder time with the harness buckle because of her really long nails 2) the shade/hood sometimes didn't stay up so I would have to tuck it in underneath the handle bar which wasn't a big deal.  Also, I contacted the company and Peg Perego strollers do NOT have flame retardants but the car seat does have some to meet the FMVSS 213 standard for flammability (most baby car seats have flame retardants like Graco, Chicco, etc.) but I'm not worried about it.  For me the most important criteria is safety, and this car seat performed well and has above average ratings in crash tests.  Anywho, my husband and I would buy this travel system again. My LO outgrew the carseat at age 4 months but we still use the stroller every day.  Love that it's made in Italy!

It has over 10 different flame retardant chemicals in it. Throwing it out and getting something clearer for my child.

It’s cute and has held up for the 4 months I had it. ( still going strong) It is a little confusing, but I like it!

This is our first and only travel system so we have nothing to compare it to but we love it. Bought the rose gold. Love the color. No complaints so far with either the car seat or the stroller.

I’m in love with the entire travel system and so is my 3 month old daughter. I love everything about this system and the stroller operates very smoothly.

Very good high quality car seat and stroller the only down side would be the sistem to lay back the stroller not too comfortable ,overall very happy with the purchase after 8 month still look brand new !

I just purchased this great stroller for my daughter. I can’t thank enough to Germinia (buybuybaby employee) from helping us get everything that she needed for baby . She is a great person and very knowledgeable.

I love this travel system and not only because it’s beautiful! It definitely stands out amongst all of the black strollers but it really keeps the baby safe. She is extremely comfortable and falls asleep almost every time she’s in it. The stroller is very smooth to push and opens easily with a little latch on the side. The car seat fits in my Jeep Cherokee just fine. My only complaint is that the basket under the stroller is not very big but my diaper bag is! It doesn’t matter though I LOVE this travel system & would buy all over again!
