I love this so much. We have used it every month for my son who is now 18 months old. I will continue to use it at every "year" milestone. :) Although it is a bit expensive for my taste. I use the chalkboard markers on it, although it recommends not to, as I like the ability to write with them vs the chalk it comes with. I write it all out, take the photos, and erase ASAP to make sure there isn't staining, but have found the best removal is a lysol/clorox wipe immediately followed by a dry papertowel. Sometimes I have to do it a couple of times but I do not have any staining on my board.
Since this is a chalk board I bought chalk board markers to use on it, however it does come with 6 colored pieces of chalk. (the markers are brighter and create cleaner lines.) I wrote all the information out, took my photos, super cute. Went to clean it off the next day (using a wet paper towel) and the marker would not come off of the board. It left kind of a colored residue. As I scrubbed the black coating on the board began to wipe off.

This is a baby gift for my nephew and his wife. I had it shipped to them so I didn't have a chance to see it. They did say they liked it and was pleased.

I tried every chalk eraser out there and it won’t erase 100% (and every cleaning product). It’s cute but you can always sorta see the writing from the previous month

Very cute idea but it did not come with any chalk and after buying chalk markers it would not come off of board. I scrubbed and scrubbed and still could not get the writing to come off. This was a one use item which is not what I was looking for!

We thot this was amazing! Until we tried to erase the chalkboard markers we bought for it. They don’t cone off AT ALL. big thumbs down.

We love this item however we use chalk markers (must purchase separately). Also must scrub any chalk with magic eraser to properly get out. Got a nice arm workout however you can’t tell because once again it looks great for our little ones next milestone! Highly recommend for keeping track of all the wonderful accomplishments in a cute fashion. Only removing one star due to having to use chalk other than the chalk provided to truly get the look we want (as well as the look pictured) and then having to rely on magic eraser when done.

The size is great The corners do get broken chips off easily and even in shipping they would. When I got mine the corner at least 2 were chipped off. It doesn’t clean or erases As good you can still see the pervious writing Is better to write with dark colors
