The piece itself matches up with he holes. Matches the color is about a 90% match and it keeps my toddler from rolling out. But, I was highly disappointed in the cheap look and feel. I'm certain my two year old could snap it in half if he tried. It really brings down the quality of the crib. Paint some plywood and screw it to the side. It would be cheaper and wouldn't look any less terrible.

It's okay. It secures to the main crib frame w/o issue. It also doesn't take much time at all (about 5 mins for me). However not a five star rating as it just doesn't feel as substantial as the rest of the crib frame and especially not the piece that would normally be here in the infant form of the crib.I ddo understand they serve completelyddifferent purposes, but was still just expecting a little more bulk perhaps? Also, the coloring is slightly off. The rest of the crib has a deeper, darker grey finish. The crib actually looks a subtle blue next to this toddler rail that's light grey... Adding to the "kinda off" feel the toddler rail gives. Nonetheless, like I said it installs securely and serves it's ultimate physical purpose.

Should be less expensive and should be able to be used 2 sided no just one side .

This is the guardrail that came with our set, it is completely functional- we weren’t going to get a rail at first, but our toddler rolled out of the bed a few times. He is sleeping safely now. The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that we wish it were just a little more aesthetically pleasing, and we kind of wish the high part went all the way up. We have a climber, and he can easily climb up that and up the crib. We had to transition earlier than planned. However we would purchase this again!

The toddler guardrail is so easy to install and so handy. So much easier to put your toddler to bed so they aren’t climbing in and out the bed. Best part it’s part of the Oxford Richmond set so it matches.
