This thing is steaming pile of crap. The app is awful and buggy. The camera frequently disconnects (like every 5 seconds frequently) from the monitor, even when they are right next to each other. Waste of time and money,

The app's performance also depends on other variants such as network upload speed and WiFi signal strength detected by the camera. We recommend at least 90% and if the signal is below, try moving the camera to a position that receives a better signal or the router closer.

It’s 1am and I can’t sleep, don’t waste your money PamMack ·

I should have known from the start that this monitor wasn’t going to be worth what I paid for it (which wasn’t cheap!) - while setting it up, the manual pointed me to the “on off switch” … which doesn’t exist on the camera. You can see ridges in the plastic where it should be however, so I brought it back to the store and found that none of them have it. Weird? Anyway, I should have returned it then. It is delayed, it flickers on and off every 3 seconds, it needs the strongest wifi connection known to man (we have great wifi)… without it it will freeze to the point where you can’t even shut it down by holding the power button. My baby is 4 months old, she has been sleeping in our room until 3 nights ago so I didn’t rely heavily on the monitor until now. I haven’t slept much because I’m too busy making sure I can hear/see her (oh, picture quality is pretty poor at night and sound isn’t great either). I hoped when I bought this monitor I’d have peace of mind, yet I am more stressed now and running into her nursery constantly because of this thing. I can’t speak to other makes/models, because unfortunately this is the one I chose, but for the price - consider something else.

This camera works fine but the connectivity to the internet is lacking, in a huge way!! I need to bring this monitor with us on vacations and reconnecting to a different wifi is nearly impossible. And that’s when you’re connecting to old known networks. For instance, I’ve been home trying to reconnect this monitor to my HOME WIFI for over an hour. How is it so difficult!? It pairs by scanning a QR code and it fails 90% of the time, after making you wait for what seems like forever. Am I the only one? I’d love to return this product , except the return period has ended. If someone at the company sees this, please contact me with a way to resolve this issue. I’d love a different product. Would have paid so much more, for a working monitor, had I known.

Hello Kate,

I am sorry for the trouble you had. Normally, when you change provider/router or network, you need to hard reset the camera and setup again. If there is any video or snapshot you want to save, I suggest you do that before resetting the camera:

• First delete the camera from the camera list. (iOS: Tap on the gear icon of the camera you want to remove and then tap ‘Remove Camera’. Android: Tap on the gear icon of the camera you want to remove and then tap on the bin icon at the top right corner.)
• Turn your camera off. If your camera doesn't have a power switch, you can unplug it from power.
• Press and hold the PAIR button while turning the unit on or plugging back in the camera. Continue to hold the PAIR button until a long BEEP is heard.

The unit has only brought me frustration. The first unit I received, the speaker was shot, it was all muffled, the camera took forever to sync with my app on my phone. The camera kept disconnection from the app and the actual camera. Tried to contact the manufacture as we received this 60 days before as a gift, with no success. phone line kept looping around saying the same thing. Did online chat and they were not helpful. The store replaced the unti as they saw there was clearly and issue. They gave me a new one. Speaker was fine, however the monitor keeps turning off and rebooting. Again wasted my time on the online chat and they said its back ordered and I have to wait. DO NOT BUY this product or any other hubble product, they are all garbage!! save yourself from wasting time, money and energy.

This is probably the worst baby monitor ever. CONS: Touch screen is awful and flickers, blinking light on the monitor keeps baby awake, parent unit does not stay charged, and terrible resolution. Pros: There are none. I did not even attempt to try the app for wifi I was so displeased. I will be returning this!

I am sorry to hear about your discontent. We recommend making sure the units are running the latest firmware version. For this, you may find this video helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHSAP0mMoCM.

I'm afraid it's not possible to possible to turn the LED status lights off the camera, however, some customers who thought the lights bothersome have found it helpful to tape the lights.

Regarding the monitor's battery, we recommend charging it for 16 hours straight prior to first use. Usually, a new battery lasts up to 1 to 3 hours. This considering the monitor goes into audio mode only. When the video is kept activated all the time, or you frequently turn it on, the battery will last considerably less. The batteries are designed to be used for short periods only, for instance, when there is no power outlet near. We recommend that the unit is plugged in at night to last the whole period.

The image resolution of the Nursery Pal Premium is 1280 x 720 (HD 720p) for both the parent unit and the Hubble Club app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nursery Pal Premium baby monitor by Hubble Connected is one of the best monitors I have used. It was simple to set up and has been easy to use so far. I love that it shows the temperature of the room and that it has night vision. I love the added baby mode on the tablet portion of it also. Keeps baby entertained.

Not only is the battery life beyond ridiculous but we used it for about a week and the screen blinks in and out along with sound. The parent monitor randomly freezes up and you can’t do anything with it, you have to wait until the monitor gets its life together for the system to serve its purpose. We are also very unhappy with the company’s customer service. They have given us the same “tips and tricks” to try but they don’t work. We aren’t idiots, the system is terrible and they need to refund us. I was asked “do you have it powered on!” Come on folks…..we aren’t all idiots. I know how to turn the camera on.

Please make sure the firmware of your units is up to date (under details in cameras settings in the app). You can also reset the monitor: With the parent unit plugged in, turn it on, insert a paperclip or something small enough that fits inside into the reset hole above the power port. The parent will reset and turn itself off. Turn back on.

I would’ve given it 5 stars but… the small inch screen keeps blinking. I don’t mind that because I’m always on my phone and my phone always alerts me when she’s crying or if she’s making a noise which is a good thing. Another thing I love about this camera is that it records everything and it saves it to your phone.
