NUK® Smooth Flow™ Elephants 3-Pack 5 oz. Anti-Colic Bottle in Grey

I received the NUK smooth flow anti colic 10oz bottle free in order to test and leave a review. The bottle looks fine, not hard to clean but it just has one major flaw. When my daughter is trying to eat the nipple just sinks in and of course she gets irritated by it and ends up just throwing the bottle. She seem interested in but since it’s constantly happening she’s never been able to eat a full bottle.

Cute bottles, thought 1 flowers nipple would be good for my newborn. This is not the case. Unfortunately this nipple flows to fast and my son chokes in it. The spits up most of the bote due to the fast flow. Nipples are no good.

The nipples flood the babies mouth with milk. Choking, gulping.

the smooth flow is way to fast for my newborn. he is now 3 months and still drowns himself. maybe when he is older but by then the 5 oz bottle will be too small in quantity. NOT FOR NEWBORNS

My 1 week old needed a faster flow nipple or something she could control. Saw the smooth flow bottles and she seemed to like the shape of the nipple, but after just a few sucks, the y cut split open even more and she just got flooded. The nippers themselves just seem very thin and fragile. Very disappointing because these bottles were one of the more expensive ones on the shelf.

I have been searching for a good bottle. My baby is about to be 5 months old and I’ve purchased many bottles. I exclusively pump for my baby and all my other bottles leak so bad. It’s heartbreaking when you work so hard and have the bottle leak your breast milk. Today was my first day using the NUK bottles and I’m 100% sold! They don’t leak and my baby loves them!! So happy we finally found a good bottle that doesn’t leak and my baby loves.

I got the nuk bottles because I’ve liked them since my first born and never had any issues. I noticed for my third I got them again and now the nipple has a different slit and not the small hole as before. That slit makes the milk flow faster and it was difficult for my 1 month old to keep up. I had to find the old nipples online and he does so much better. No issues. The nipples I have you can even see where the previous hole was sealed and the new slit was made. Personally I think they should go back to the S and M style nipples.

After going through multiple bottles with my 7 week old baby I was excited when I found it this bottle because it didn’t seem to drown to him and he was not choking. I then went and brought 2 packs of the Disney bottle sets. After a couple uses, the nipple stretched and he was drowning and choking! This bottle says 0+ but DO NOT GIVE TO YOUR NEWBORN! Older baby may be fine but newborn.. no way!!!
