Nested Bean Zen Swaddle Classic™ in Stardust Grey

I wanted to love this swaddle. The concept is great but unfortunately we will not be using it any longer. Because of the material my daughter was able to easily wiggle it up over her head no matter how tight and secure it was. Not worth the suffocation risk. And yes, we have the correct size for her and she is swaddles correctly per the instructions. Also, you have to completely unswaddle them for diaper changes which is a bummer for the middle of the night changes when you don’t want to fully wake them up. Wish there was a zipper at the bottom.

This is a great concept, especially for my newborn who does not sleep well unless he is being held. The weighted parts are light but just enough to provide comfort. The only thing is that it has many layers (smaller insert within for newborns) so it is pretty thick and heavy in general. So my one month old did not use it much in May due to the heat but otherwise this is a great concept for a swaddle.

My little one slept 9 hours his first night in this!!! And now he's a great sleeper through the night even in his other sleep sack. He did start to wiggle out later, especially his hands - he loves to have his hands free. I got this too late to use the newborn pocket inside, but what a great idea. The only thing I'd love to see on this is a zipper opening at the bottom for easy diaper changes without undoing the whole thing. The Aden + Anais swaddles have this feature. That's the only reason for four stars instead of five. I love the material and the gentle weight. I will definitely be purchasing one of their sleep sacks in the near future. Full Disclosure:

It's exactly what I was looking for in a swaddle. My baby's always slept pretty well, but the weight seems to help him fall back asleep faster after nighttime feedings. He's also a master escape artist. No matter how tightly I swaddle him in a regular blanket, his arms are out by morning. The best he's been able to do in this swaddle is get one arm out - and that doesn't even always happen. It's very easy to use for swaddling and for quick diaper changing. I would highly recommend trying it out!

My 3 week old started sleeping 4-5 hour stretches the very first night of use. The material is extremely soft and the double pouch for newborn then later use is genius!!!! This product is a must for new parents and my newborn seems to love it!!!

The swaddle did work for my son. He is know 9 months old and I still uses it and it keeps him calm and quiet so he can sleep.

If your baby wiggles, do not get this. Our little Houdini kept getting out of it or it would ride up above his face. I worry about it being over his mouth and nose. After two nights of finding it up to high, we never put him back in it.
