Great product - came highly recommended with great reviews and won a few parenting awards. We have one upstairs and one downstairs. Love the A&H puck that helps with smell-- haven't had an issue with that at all! Things I don't like about it: the front door doesn't always close easily, the single bags can be hard to change out (recommend the long roll replacements instead), and the lid makes a loud clicking noise when it gets close to full and you close it (annoying esp when you're trying to be quiet).

I don’t know what I was expecting but this is an ok product. Usually I rave about products I love in reviews, this is not one of those. I don’t like the idea of having to push the diaper through the small opening, if you don’t push it down far enough, (again, not loving the pushing it down part), when you have to close the lid, yes, you have to push the lid closed, it doesn’t just close on its own, it makes a loud noise. Plus, I wash my hands, of course, after every diaper change, but pushing a dirty diaper into a small space grosses me out. Our diaper genie broke, but that was a better concept, until it broke, and two broke so…here we are!

The door does not stay closed, there’s no true “locking” system. I had actually returned my first one because I thought there was something functionally wrong with the door. I was disappointed when my replacement came in and the same issue was present. My now curious 1 year old constantly opens the door if it is not turned around to face the wall. Save your money and buy a different pail.

It makes a very loud grinding sound when closing the lid, making it almost impossible to use for night time change, and super annoying during the day too! You also need to push the diaper down with your hand, which is kinda gross.

This product is not worth the money spent on it. The seal around the pail broke within 2 months of using allowing diaper smell to escape into room deeming product useless

Love the product. Only complaints are the front door doesn’t stay closed, and it doesn’t fit many diapers. But the odor blocking is great!

This diaper pail definitely keeps the poop smell controlled but it’s kinda gross putting the diapers in. You basically have to push pretty hard for it to go through the bag and you wind up basically smushing and feeling whatever was in the diaper. Also bags have to be cut and tied whenever you replace them which is kinda annoying.
