OMG Munchkin has done it again. This is SOOOO much better than their smaller sterilizer. Cool things: - It comes with a testing strip to ensure that your lights are running perfectly - It can fold down to be pretty flat - It's pretty portable, but don't expect it to be as portable as their mini sterilizer - The flexibility on how big an item it can sterilize is its greatest strength. I'm sterilizing all kinds of things (and even things that aren't baby related like my phone!) - The battery pack is small, and I get a ton of uses without having to re-charge. It's been a few weeks since my last charge and it's still going strong. Things to be careful of: - The front lid has a magnet where you press the button. When you first start using this sterilizer, it's not used to being "folded" and so the magnet may detach. When it separates, then the unit turns off (probably for safety concerns, you don't want to nuke your eyeballs out with that super powerful UV) - It may explicitly state that it's NOT been tested against the virus that causes COVID-19. However, common sense tells us that this coronavirus should be killed by UV-C just like their other coronavirus strains (I'm not a scientist researching this so do your own research!)
For $130 you’d except that the sterilizer would turn on and stay on reliably. This is the second one I’ve gotten and while this one stays closed better, it’s tough to turn on and isn’t reliably staying on the whole 5 minutes. I’m not sure if it’s working as a sterilizer but believe it probably is. If they could get rid of the design flaws this would be a cool item.

No issues with product. People are complaining about magnetic latch, don't think they understand how to use this item. It is so simple. A+ product.

I purchased the Munchkin sterilizer for my boyfriend's C-Pap mask. We had bought an ozone sterilizer that left an odor. It was really sickening and stunk very badly-like it was burning which we found out is normal! Not for us! Your product worked out great for his mask! Not smell and no sinus infections either! Great price for something that actually works! Use it to sterilize other items also like the tv remotes, keys, etc.

His parents are so careful, watching to be sure all clothes are organic cotton, and very careful about all things that will come in contact with the baby. This wasn't on their registry, but I knew they would appreciate it.

i FINALLY understand why this product gets returned so much. The magnetic latch is hard to catch so getting the lights to turn on is difficult. It would've been ideal for travel purposes, but not worth the hassle of trying to get the sensors to latch.
Easy to use and sterilizes those hard to clean items. Some things cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher or washer. This is just perfect!

Such a wonderful sterilizer for baby items. With kids putting everything into their mouth, this gives me a sense of security to know my child is safe, It is so easy to use and also travel with. With just the touch of a button and a few minutes, things are sterile. I love that you don't have to plug it in to use as long as you have the power pack charged. I have used it for more items that just the things my baby uses. We also use it to sterlize keys and remotes.

This sterilizer didn’t work. I followed the directions perfectly and the device will not turn on. This is super frustrating as this is a fairly expensive product. It would be cool if it were usable.
