Munchkin® 360-Degree Cloud™ Swivel High Chair in Grey/White

I was looking for a high chair that is easy to clean, practice and at the same time beautiful. At first I got Graco but the plastic looked so cheap. I saw the Munchkin 360 and I thought "this looks beautiful. It sure is very pretty high chair. The cushion looks and feels like faux leather. It's comfortable and there is no need to remove it to clean it. So easy

Easy and not huge

Like many of you, I purchased this chair because it is the best looking one out there, completely unware of just how much MOLD gets trapped underneath the handles of the tray. We started using this chair about 9 months ago when my son was 7 months old and able to sit up on his own. Within two weeks he had figured out how to remove the gray feeding insert, and since then we have stopped using the gray tray insert and instead place a busy baby mat on the tray - I will say that the tray itself is a nice size and it actually fits the busy baby mat unlike others out there. However, food gets trapped and smashed underneath the seating pad, and deep cleaning this seat is quite a task. The seat itself is rather large and washing it in the sink leaves water all over the place. I've found the easiest way is to take it outside and hose it down - this works in the summer but now that it is fall I'll be carrying this up and down the stairs to put it in the bathtub. The straps are pretty difficult to remove from the seat and require a lot of hand strength to put them through the openings. While the tray being dishwasher safe is a plus, BE MINDFUL OF MOLD. For those of you that are already using this, do yourself a favor, flip the tray upside down, grab a screw driver and remove the handles - you will be blown away by the quantity of mold that builds up underneath here. Since discovering this, we switched to handwashing, and after each washing we hold the handles open and shake out as much excess water as possible, and it has NOT STOPPED THE MOLD BUILDUP. I have been cleaning this weekly and within 7 days we have complete mold buildup again. I cannot find a safe non-toxic way to prevent this. If you purchase this chair, be aware that the beautiful design comes at a high cost - frustrating toe stubs daily, and exposing your baby to a lot of HIDDEN MOLD. There are also small clear crevices on the seat near where the tray connects that visibly trap food that are extremely difficult to clean as they are too tight to fit a toothpick in to it. I've found the best method for removing food and grime is to use a piece of thick mail.

I purchased this chair online and didn’t receive the first one so I called and was mailed a second one. I love the it. We had one of those that can lean back and forth but it was messy. Food was always all over the chair in places we couldn’t reach so we had to take the chair apart to clean it everyday but this one is so neat and clean! Hardly any mess besides food prints from ny child touching the plastic obviously! I love it.

The swivel feature is pointless because the foot rest is only in the front. The foot rest also doesn't adjust at all for height. My baby feels insecure because the foot rest isn't adjustable, so she constantly draws her feet in to find support wherever she can, which is usually the center piece and makes her lean. The straps slip and I'm constantly tightening them. I wish I had registered for a different high chair. The aesthetic is not worth the lack of functionality

I did so much research when I was pregnant and narrowed it down to this one and two others. The only reason I picked this one is because "its pretty." And it is pretty. But I hate it so much. First of all, the legs stick out further than you think and it's a huge trip hazard, and space isn't an issue for us. We trip over it every single time we walk by it. Second, the seat says it's not machine washable??? Why on earth would they design a seat pad that can't be thrown in a washing machine knowing how messy mealtime is for a baby or toddler? Third, the shoulder straps tether at the waist, so when you sit the baby in the seat, it's impossible to keep them from sitting on the straps and you have to dig it out from under their wiggly butt and wrestle them to strap them in. Fourth, the footrest isn't adjustable and it's more for a toddler but the stability is so crucial for a baby learning to eat. Not helpful. Fifth, the tray needs both hands to remove and if little hands are underneath, it can be a pinch point. We learned our lesson the hard way. Finally, my girl CANNOT get comfortable in this. She's 7 months old and sits unassisted VERY well, has been for months but cannot sit up in this chair. It seems to slope forward and she just slides out of it and ends up leaning back and hunched over. The seat pad also slides forward and makes it worse. We tried removing the seat pad, adjusting all the straps, removing the straps, using towels to prop her, using without the tray, and nothing can position her properly. I'm so sad I spent $200 on this chair and find myself using a $30 bumbo to feed her in. I will say the seat itself is easy to wipe clean if you don't use the seat pad, and the tray being dishwasher safe is helpful. It was also very simple to put together. But all the other negatives make be regret my purchase. And of course I bought it while pregnant so we were way past a return window, but we contacted munchkin customer service and we got a generic, "we value your input and will pass along to our design team" message and we were told there's nothing they can do. Please don't waste your money like I did because it's "pretty"

I was researching a lot of different high chairs and I kept going back to the Munchkin 360. It’s beautiful, the fact that it rotates for convenience and it’s very easy to clean.

leads to stubbed toes. straps slip and can not be easily cleaned. really meant for a child that is at least 9 months and able to sit up very independently. the swivel function does not make up for the uselessness of the rest of the chair.
