Motherhood Maternity® Small Maia Skinny Ankle Maternity Pant in Black

I literally own these pants in every color and just rotate them for work. At first I was hesitant because the over-belly material of other pants had been thick, cumbersome, and would either fall down or be really hard to pull up. However, the over-belly on these pants is lightweight and I honestly forget I am wearing maternity pants at all! They are super flattering as well. Worth every penny!

These pants would be perfect if you’re planning on wearing them with a longer shirt. They are see through- even with flesh colored underwear. I had to return mine. If it wasn’t for that, they’d be super cute work pants.

I ended up returning these for three reasons. First, the fabric is unpleasant. It was stiff and scratchy, and I could not imagine going through an entire workday in them. Second, they run smaller than other pants I've ordered with Motherhood and were not flattering. Third, way too short for someone who is 5'10".

These pants are very comfortable, and no weird bagginess in the crotch from the belly panel! I was surprised by how stretchy they are, because out of the bag they feel a little stiff. My only complaint is the single length offered. At 5’3” these are really more full length than ankle length.

I’m 28 weeks, 195 lbs and the large fit perfect. I purchased a pair or the regular dress pants, and a pair of the secret fit. I love both of them. The band is certainly more snug on these pants. Some reviews noted the pants wore quickly, which made me hesitant in my purchase, so I’m keeping an eye on that. My only complaint is regarding the time it took to prepare the order- it took a week and a half to ship, plus shipping time.

I have to constantly pull these pants up and they get bunched behind my knees and are uncomfortable there. I honestly just think they are not really made for bootylicious ladies. Maybe when I’m bigger they will fit better, but honestly I wish they had more fabric in the butt area.

I wore these to two events already and got so many compliments.

These are really not great and I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. I actually kind of hate them. Material feels cheap. Seam along the back (why would they put that there??) is uncomfortable by the end of the day as it rubs against my thighs. I expect them to shrink in the wash. I’m 5’9 and they work as “ankle pants” but are borderline too short and are tight in the calves. Kept them only because I’m desperate for maternity pants. Currently 20 weeks so hopefully they will last the rest of the pregnancy and then I fully expect them to go in the trash.
